2 or 3 naps for 6.5 month old

Hi all

Need advice.

Our baby has been on 3 naps, with wake windows roughly 1.5-2.5 hours long (usually shorter ww at beginning of the day, longest at the end). Sleeps were ok until 5.5month mark.

Since turning 6 months we've had:
- Baby fighting naps, like id try putting her down but every time she'd scream cry and just not sleep. When I pick her up she's happy and smiling
- The last nap is a little awkward... like I don't know where to fit it in if sticking with a 9.5-10.5 hours of total wake time
- Split nights
- Waking up hourly

We tried 2 naps recently and the only concern is she's VERY VERY tired at the 3 hour mark. So if we were to do 3/3/4, it could be hard and I'm worried about pushing her to her limit or sleep depriving her.

Advice or thoughts?

If trying to get baby to nurse less at night what do you do of they fuss?

Hi there!

My 5 month old wakes 4 times a night to feed. During the day and for bedtime he falls asleep by himself no problems BUT he gets up 4 times to feed at night.

My partner tries to settle him but he'll keep fussing until fed. Once fed he falls asleep immediately.

Now I get people say feed less at night but what do you do if they wake up and won't settle even with comfort? Do you let them ride it out?

More context: Good weight and feeds well and often during the day. He only naps 2.5 hours during rhe day too so we can't shorten that any further.
