Both of them are so awkward due to their upbringing, it’s like two aliens trying to mimic human interaction.
Ryan is a little uncomfortable but trying to get used to it. Homelander obviously watched too many family movies instead of doing actual research on parenting, and is trying to act like the stereotypical dad.

We all know that Homelander only loved Ryan as an extension of himself, so what if Ryan had some goofy ass power like communication with insects or having the ability to blow balloons with his ass? + not being able to fly and also not very durable. Would Homelander still “love“ him the same way?

I’ve been working a fic recently, it’s an AU and it’s doing pretty good! It has 22 kudos rn and I feel like that’s a good start. But, not much has really happened yet and it’s kind of short, I feel like I could do better.
chapter one was around 1200 words, and chapter two, I think I nearly hit 3000 with that one. I’m currently working on chapter three and I don’t want to rush the plot but I also don’t want to make it too slow. How long should it be?
I’m newbie writer, maybe I’m thinking too hard, idk. I just want my readers to stay entertained… my brain is a mess lol

I really wish they would’ve kept these in, it would’ve made the vibe much sadder than it was. I do think Homelander was being somewhat genuine here.
I just wish Homelander and Ryan had more scenes together in general too, in this season. Their dynamic is so tragic but also so fun to watch lol
