I had an issue two days ago and called Verizon. During the call I decided that I wanted to close my account and switch to T-Mobile after 23 years with Verizon.

I was promised a loyalty discount to keep my account. Today I received an email with a link to 15% off my account as a loyalty reward. I clicked the link to my Loyalty Rewards Page. There weren't any offers.

I called Verizon. The person helping said that no discount was added to my account. They appealed to two different managers to see if they would honor the discount email and previous promise. The managers both denied honoring their promise and email.

I've contacted my state's Attorney General & the FCC.

I'm switching to T-Mobile and won't look back.
