Can anyone tell me what’s going on here?

Strange markings/impressions on snakes scales after shedding?

Is this normal immediately after shedding? She never had these marks before, but spent a lot of time buried (week and a half) while shedding. Possibly impressions from the mulch?

This juvenile Eastern yellow bellied racer was hiding just in front of my MBKs cage. An attempted robbery, self-sacrifice, or mating…guess we’ll never know

Gonna add some climbing rings/sticks along the back and left walls

“No controller detected” but I can control my operator with controller…

I have full control of my operator except I can’t look around it all. It tells me that no controller is detected (it obviously is because I can control other things) it started happening randomly in the middle of a game. I unplugged my mouse but it still says no controller detected and I still can’t look around. Aiming input device is locked as mouse and I can’t change it. Any help?

First handling help…lol

She’s been holding me hostage for almost 25 min…I have to go to bed for work tomorrow but I don’t wanna hurt her or end on a bad note…how can I nicely get her back in her cage?

Also, she was trying to consume my finger at the beginning. Ended up having to use a little hand sanitizer twice to get her off. Now she’s sort of drooling and making a popping sound. Is this normal? Thank you

How long is too long for a new snake?

Got a MBK on Saturday, saw her drinking water, periscoping, and exploring her whole cage that same night. I have not seen her since. At what point should I disturb things and look for her? I understand new snakes get stressed and it’s normal for them to hide, and I’m not terribly concerned about it. I’m just wondering about how long I should give it before I try to put eyes on her again

ELI5: Why does scratching rashes, bug bites, or otherwise irritated skin feel so good, but scratching the normal skin elsewhere feel meh or even hurt?

I have a bunch of bug bits and scratching them until they hurt, or are open feels too good. Why?

What lights do I need for a MBK?

Heat lamp, full length LED, and possibly a half length UVB? Is that it? I feel like every time I look into lighting everyone is saying something different

Can someone explain lighting to me please? Theres so much different info online and I don’t feel like I’ve learned anything

There’s UVA, UVB, UVC. It’s my understanding that I need A and B. Okay great. Heat lamp. I want a halogen bulb. Is that all I need? Or do I need like an LED strip for overall lighting? Does it need it be UV or anything? I don’t know what I need to buy…I’m getting a MBK in a 4x2x2 and I’m gonna try a bio active enclosure
