KLOW tingling

Anyone else had what feels like your limbs are almost “asleep”?

This really was a problem on day six and is still a problem on day 8, just less so. I did go up to second stage of dosing today as well by accident but didn’t figure it was that big of a deal.

3mL into 80 mg vial, 7.5 u, 15 u, 22 u, 22 u, 15u, 7u is my planned 6 week trial.

The little bit I’ve seen says this is a common side effect but holy cow is it unnerving…. How long did it last for you and did it come back every time you upped dose?

Career pivot advice

45 F RN for 15 years: 7 bedside and last 8 in health insurance. My job is easy, wfh, 4 10’s a week but I think I’ve been black listed from ever being considered for promotion. Company gaslights everyone into believing internal mobility is possible but they gatekeep how to do it.

I have found several huge opportunities for the company to save money and streamline a few processes but have never been allowed to join the team that implements them so that I can learn new skills and meet new colleagues. When I do volunteer for the stretch projects, I’m mostly passed over now. I have volunteered for just about everything I can for years and all I ever got in return was a meets expectation rating w a 2.5% raise or less each year. Bonus is never more than 4% and taxed at 40%. This year the raise went right back to company since they raised insurance premiums and deductibles.

This all started after I asked for an accommodation due to a condition I have and, in a separate incident, stood up for myself and asked to be transferred back to my actual role as the reviews they wanted me to do were putting my license and the patient’s lives in danger due to piss poor organisation of resources and instructions.

I don’t want to leave because the job is all too easy. I’d like to learn something new to pivot into informatics or data analytics but all of those certs require you to work in the field while getting a job in the field requires the cert. Entire dept appears to promote only trad wife adjacent women and all in the same region since most coworkers live in a couple places. (I’m not in those regions)

Any single women successfully pivoted within nursing to something that is not patient care but pays more than $100,000? (Married women usually have the benefit of a second income so you’re not exactly in my shoes)

KLOW & Hair Growth?

Has anyone experienced increased hair growth while researching KLOW?

I’ve heard it increases all hair growth but I’m most interested in hearing about how it affected the hair on people’s heads.

Where are the friendly, single people?

45/F/single empty nester that works from home and for the last two years I’ve consistently tried to make new friends, meet new people and really haven’t made any significant progress.

Dating apps are absolute garbage. Fb groups seem to be for older people and there are 10 women to every man. Folks are rather insular in general; I lived in my house for ten years and there wasn’t a single neighbor who was remotely friendly ever…. Same thing in area I moved to after selling.

Keep the Tommy Bahama suggestions to yourself; if being a rich jerk’s squeak toy is your kink, that’s your business.

Christian church is not an option. I go to a gym several days a week but everyone is there to workout w headphones on so I’m not sure how you’re supposed to socialise. I have started volunteering but there seems to be just old people. And even events at bars are a bust since everyone shows up in their cliques with no interest in being friendly to others.

Are other singles literally sitting at home all the time?

What are people doing to get the human interaction most of us need for mental health?

Is roaming the US still affordable?

I wfh full time and am finally at a point that I could realistically not have a home base while I decide where I want to live.

If this is something you’ve done domestically, how did you manage it?

Was it more expensive than how you were living?

I have zero debt, minimal belongings and a dog so it seems a bit silly to not explore the country but an RV is a money pit and I’ll not be living out of my vehicle.

Staying 6/17-6/20

I’ve read the FAQ and thank you to mods because it’s excellent.

Staying in French Quarter, never been before, will be me (45 F) with 19 y/o son. We want to experience the authentic culture of the city not necessarily the superficial tourist stuff.

Looks like we hit a week between big events which is great.

Any recs for live music while we are in town?

Finally get what you want but burnout anyway?

Edit: thank you all so much! I made this post basically crying and expecting a proper lambasting but you are all so kind and wonderful!

Sold my house, which was a huge stressor; I’m now debt free which has been a 20 year goal and yet I’m so overstimulated that I’m engaging in bad habits.

I know I sound ungrateful which I am most certainly not. I honestly cannot understand how I hit a lifelong goal and now have so much less stress/worry than I’ve ever had and still feel the need to use alcohol to calm my nervous system. (My go to)

I’m doing “all the good things” like working out, eating better, you name it and yet here I sit, drinking on a Monday to deal with the “stress” of a goal I know most people envy.

Please tell me someone else deals with this too.

Anhedonia is a real thing

I’m simply sharing MY EXPERIENCE- so this is not medical advice or dosing advice or any advice at all.

I researched an aggressive dosing program (sourced from the phase three studies available online) of 3mg x 2 weeks, 6mg x 4 weeks and then got through three weeks at 9mg when I realised I was doing the not so good dopamine seeking behaviors I’d done really well at stopping. (Online shopping, drinking, attention seeking behaviors, etc)

I was on Tirz previously but had taken two months off so while I wasn’t completely naive to GLPs I did not switch from one to the other.

If you notice your zest for life starts to wane, think about its correlation with your Reta dosing and see if you find causation w just the med or with other things in life. I also had the same thing happen at a similar dose of Tirz, I’m AuDHD, middle aged and on HRT if that helps anyone else with their own research.

Eyelid and brow plastic surgeon recs

I’ve been to see Dr Guy and like him a lot. I did want to ask around though and see if someone had other recs for an upper & lower blepharoplasty, fat pad revision and brow lift.

Bonus pts if they use the same endoscopic techniques and have invisible closures like Dr Guy.

Tks in advance!
