Hi everyone,

I'm currently facing a really frustrating issue with my payouts and wanted to see if anyone has insights or is in the same boat.

As you can see from the screenshots, I requested my payouts 26, 27, and 28 days ago. The tooltip clearly states to allow "10 to 14 days" for human review, but it's been almost a month now.

Here is my current situation:

  • My Tax information (W8BEN-I) is fully validated. (53 days ago)
  • My Payoneer account is correctly linked. (46 DAYS AGO)
  • The two $21 payouts were just test withdrawals to see how the system works, and the other one is my actual revenue.
  • My tools/assets are still generating sales, and I have more funds sitting in the available balance, but I'm hesitant to request another payout until these clear.

I opened a support ticket regarding this. An admin replied with, "I've let our admins know about your tickets," but nothing has changed since then. No explanation, no timeline.

I searched the forums and saw I'm not the only one, but the lack of communication from itch.io is concerning. Does anyone know how long this actual backlog takes to clear nowadays? Is there any other way to reach the actual financial team?

[EDIT]: I received my payment within 24 hours after posting on Reddit. I am going to request a new payout; I hope I don't face the same issue this time and won't need to make my voice heard here again.

Hey everyone! 👋

I just pushed a new update for my baking tool. If you are working on retro-style games and converting 3D models into 2D sprites, this update brings some important fixes to help you get much cleaner results especially for environment assets.

Here is a quick look at what’s new in v2.3.9:

  • ✨ Transparency Issue Resolved: The rendering errors experienced when processing textures with transparent materials are now completely gone. Transparent surfaces and alpha channels now render much cleaner, smoother, and exactly as you expect.
  • 🍃 New "Foliage" Button (Double-Sided Rendering): I added a dedicated 'Foliage' mode to the app! When activated, the model's texture is no longer rendered just from the outside. It now bakes based on both the "Front" and "Back" faces. You will get much more voluminous and accurate results when pixelating complex models like trees, leaves, bush, or grass.
