Whether he was dead, a criminal, or simply abandoned them, Quina never learned the truth.

When she was 4 years old, her mother died from disease, leaving her completely alone. Too young to survive on her own, for 2 years she lived as an orphan on the streets of Daggerfall.

At the age of 6, she was adopted by House Motiile, a wealthy merchant-aristocratic family whose fortunes came from trade across Tamriel.

The Motiile gave her a home, education, and opportunities few Orcs could dream of. She learned reading, mathematics, diplomacy, and commerce alongside the family's own children.

The other children mocked her tusks and features. Servants whispered the way she looked . her pale green complexion, gray eyes, unsettled those who hated Orcs.

To survive noble society, Quina learned etiquette, accounting, trade negotiation, swordsmanship, and alteration spells skill.
