Hi all, looking for advice from people who dealt with NS deferment before. I deferred my reservist till the end of the year because I was studying overseas. However, my course seems to have finished earlier than expected, and now I’m planning to return to Singapore and start working.

I haven’t received any call-up yet, but I’m unsure whether I’m supposed to inform CMPB/unit immediately since technically the reason for deferment ended earlier than planned.

Everyone talks about Bangalore food or Mumbai nightlife but Chennai has this weirdly comforting vibe once you stop comparing it to other cities. Random tea kadais at midnight, beach breeze at Marina, old temples next to IT parks, insane filter coffee, and somehow the auto driver becomes your life coach.
