Faceted dichroic glass.
I am learning to facet and fairly new at it. This one came out sparkly.

This is my second garnet. The first had a weird inclusion so I stopped. This one’s looking nice so far.

I fixed the scratches. I’ve been using too much pressure plus my disc got contaminated. All good now. This is 8000.

This is green quartz cut with nonagon star pattern. Everything went well but I’m getting scratches on the polishing.

I just talked to someone on the other side of the earth. We totally got along and I learned a lot about her culture.

X cube that fell of the dop with two tiers of facets left. I faceted the table by hand. What’s the best way to re-dop to add the missing facets?

This is my 3rd x cube with a trillion cut. I really like how it came out.
I learned something today. The cheater is wonderful for polishing facets, but if you don’t put it back to zero and try to do a triangle table it will not match up.
I was using my 1500 to cut the table so I was able to fix it, but it took me a minute to figure out why my table was crooked early on. Mind your cheater knobs.

I bought a paddle board a while ago. Is there a good way to fasten a seat on it? More kayaky?
It would also be nice to have a friend to show me where to go.

I have a lot of bad paintings. Is there a group that cuts up paintings and sews them in to new art?
I could do it my self but I’d like to share and collaborate.
