Illinois map?
Does anyone have a resource showing current roads and towns Route 66 goes through in Illinois? Most maps i have found try to route me over the Interstate.

I've been a Muny season ticket holder for most of my life. However, last night was unlike any I have ever attended. The energy of the show, the audience - was just amazing. Hairspray is playing for three more nights (Friday - Sunday, June 19-21st) and it's out of this world amazing. I found myself just wanting to jump out of my seat and dance with some of the songs! The energy was just unbelievable.
The best thing is, you don't even have to pay a dime to see this show if you don't want to - there are free seats, available every night! Just show up and get in line!
But no matter if you have been a Muny goer for years, or never went, you owe it to yourself to check this performance out. It's timely, it's energetic and it's St. Louis at its very best.
Been using Photopea for a few months, and enjoying it. However, have a question on how to add what I refer to as "cut lines" to a design. I have a sheet filled with a pattern, and I need to add lines at certain points to aid with alignments and cuts.

So how/where does one find local graphic artists who can help with design ideas? I have the ideas, just terrible at design. Many times i even have the graphics just need help pulling it all together. Looking for someone I can partner up with to help make small designs. Mainly for use on 1.25" buttons. Prefer to help local STL folks, and should go without saying AI slop is not wanted in any form.
Put down the phone and get outside - here's a few things to do this weekend:
What else is going on?
Act Two Community Theater in St Peters is performing this hilarious farce until May 31st. A great way to enjoy the weekend and relax!
Just wanted to celebrate it, but at 52 made the last damn payment on my student loans today.
Free at last.
52 year old guy here. Back in middle school had home economics and we all learned to sew. Fat forward 40 years and I have dabbled a bit but not much. Went with a friend to a fabric store last week and found some nice road trip designs and thought "I should make a pillow!" And bought material.
Anyway, was out and about this morning and stopped at a few yard sales. Came across one with a Singer Beginner sewing machine 2263 brand new in box never opened. They wanted $15. Figured this was my sign!
So for this 52 year old guy... what's an ideal way to learn by doing? If you were teaching me anew, what would you start with?
update: Thank you all for the great advice and resources. I appreciate it! I live in the St. Louis area and checking for sewing classes and groups to join as well!
Another reason I love the Missouri History Museum - they welcome and represent all. There is a gigantic mural about Forest Park as part of an exhibit. It's 3 stories tall. Hidden in plain sight is a gay couple holding hands at the Muny. Beautiful!
And $5 expected by Memorial Day or sooner.
Jesus Christ. Glad all the book banning and culture wars helped us so much.
Love the mission control style, and it has zero ads.
