How to use the Dolomite PowerGrade in free DaVinci Resolve without the Studio watermark?
Hey everyone,
I really love the look of the Dolomite PowerGrade in DaVinci Resolve, but I’m using the free version, so applying it triggers the Studio watermark.
When I go through the node tree and disable nodes one by one, the watermark stays until I completely delete/bypass the Resolve FX nodes. However, deleting those FX nodes strips away the signature look of the Dolomite grade.
Since I can't upgrade to the Studio version right now, is there a workaround to keep the overall core look (color balance, contrast, curves) while swapping or removing only the paid Studio FX?
Has anyone using the free version successfully modified this PowerGrade (or found free effect replacements for the Studio OFX components like film grain/glow/halation)? Any tips or replacement workflows would be super appreciated!
Thanks!
How to replicate this look in DaVinci Resolve 21.0.4
Hey guys,
I’m a beginner using DaVinci Resolve. I’ve mastered the basic node setup (CST In -> Exposure/Contrast/Sat -> CST Out), but I saw an Instagram video with a color grade I absolutely love and have no idea how to recreate.
Can any experts tell me how to get this look?

Best camera + lens bundle under €1,100 in Ireland? (Or best place to buy Sony ZV-E10 II?)
Hi all,
Looking to buy the Sony ZV-E10 II with 16-50mm kit lens in Ireland. Harvey Norman has it around €1,100+.
A few quick questions:
Is there a better/alternative camera + lens combo for under €1,100 that you’d recommend?
Where’s the cheapest & safest place to buy in Ireland?
Are discount sites like WebTronics legit, or risky grey market?
Appreciate any quick tips or shop recommendations! Thanks.
Hidden Gems in Co. Wicklow? Help me build the ultimate bucket list! 🏔️🌊
Hey guys! 👋I’m planning a trip to County Wicklow soon, but we aren’t really looking for long walks, heavy hikes, or mountain trekking. We’re more into scenic spots that are easy to access, have amazing views, and are great for relaxing or taking cool photos! scenic drives, quick viewpoints, hidden photo spots, or nice places to chill!
I’d love to get your personal recommendations! 👇
✨ Do you know any spots in Wicklow that:
- Have incredible views with minimal walking required? 🚗 scenic
- Are a bit of a "hidden gem" or secret spot that felt super special when you visited? 🤫
- Have a great vibe, cool photo opps, or a lovely nearby café where you’d love to go back again? ☕️✨
Whether it’s a breathtaking viewpoint right off the road, a scenic drive, a cozy lake view, or an amazing photo spot—drop your top recommendations in the comments! 📍
Thanks in advance for the inspo! 🙌
Sony ZV-E10 II vs. Insta360 Luna Ultra – Torn between both for family photos & Instagram! Need advice.
Hi everyone,
I’m currently super confused between choosing the **Sony ZV-E10 II** and the **Insta360 Luna Ultra**. My main goal is to capture family photos, everyday memories, and high-quality photo/video content for Instagram (reels & posts).
Here is what is holding me back on both:
- **Insta360 Luna Ultra:** I love the built-in gimbal design and tracking features—it seems unbeatable for quick, shake-free videos and family vlogging on the go. **However, how are the STILL PHOTOS on this?** Can it handle nice portraits and family photos, or does it feel more like a glorified smartphone photo?
- **Sony ZV-E10 II:** I know the larger APS-C sensor will give me vastly superior photos with great background blur (bokeh) for Instagram. **My main fear is video stabilization.** Since it doesn't have IBIS (mechanical sensor stabilization), is the Active Digital Stabilization good enough for casual handheld walking videos/vlogs? Or will I be forced to buy a bulky gimbal to get decent video?
For those who have used either (or similar setups), which route would you recommend for someone who wants a balance of great photos and smooth family videos without a super complicated setup?
Thanks in advance for your help!
