Oh boy, did this gym give me trouble, as you can see by the state of my team lol. I've been having a blast with this game! Although battles like this stress me out beyond belief, I was lucky to stall with a few revives and toxic spikes against their final mon.
Is it worth it to breed for Shinies' early game, or should I wait for an oval charm or something of that sort? So far, I've found static encounters are my easiest method right now. (I'm avoiding the shiny charm code because I like the thrill, honestly lol)
First of all, I'd like to mention that I've played up to chapter 13 of rejuvenation, so I am fully aware of the pain I'm in for. I have used codes, fullivs, Powerpack, easyhms, and hardcap. Currently following along with the help of Bigjra's guide, thank god that this exists or I'd be even more overwhelmed by a huge amount of content. I am currently waiting for it to rain and thunder so I can get the last two Mons I can get before chapter 2. I've also been shiny hunting every static encounter so far ( I love the shinies ^0^)
Starter: Torchic (not because of the guide but because I like em after using them sometime in rejuvenation either in where love lies or base game can't remember)
So far, I can say I've been enjoying myself and am looking forward to the story although I've only slightly touched the surface because I immediately went on the hunt for shinies like the shiny goblin I am (my precious) lastly I'd like to direct a question towards the community, what was you're first shiny?

This is my main team as of now, I used to have a Luxray, but belibolt forced his way onto the team after he proved too useful. I hate the frog, but what can you do? All are currently level 65 and although I struggle with them, I've grown attached even to that frog I despise.. Frog.... he needs a nickname unlike the rest of my team so I ask, what should this god forsaken frog be called?
I have been crashing from time to time before, specifically when collecting eggs from dens but never consistently. This has changed as of today as every time I exit a den or go onto another area, a crash occurs. I am on the path right when the protagonist leaves on his journey, covered in ice. Perhaps it's the particles in this area, but it's a bit annoying, and quite honestly, it's hard to get past this area with the frequency. I wanted to ask everyone if this has been happening to them as well? If so, I wanted to know how you fixed it for yourself? Well if it's fixable on my end lol
I keep telling myself that I'm going to take a break from Monster Hunter Rise and continue on with my stories 3 gameplay, but it feels so difficult to pull my claws out of rise. Ever since I started I've wanted to take a break to start some of the other games I got during the steam sale but rise is so bloody addictive I blank and find I'm fighting master rank khezu the next day. Is this just how it is for Monster Hunters gameplay loop?! The satisfaction when I defeat a difficult monster to the disappointment when I fail a hunt I've been driven mad especially because I'm bad at this sort of game. Then I look towards monster hunter wilds and World, and I'm like "damn is this gonna happen all over again?!". Anyways, rant over. I'm an addicted mess rn XD
