Store said these were all males

I believe the white one may be a female?
My tank is a 20 long and I only have 1 male guppy and one snail, but plant on 6 kuhli loaches and 1 bristlenose. Should I bring the female back, or should I get more females to even out the attention?

Day 3 of my new tank

On day 3 of cycling a new tank and the water is cloudy. The rocks were all rinsed prior to setup, day 1 and 2 the water was clear. Day 2 is when I added my pothos, which were already long term water props. I’ll admit, I didn’t wash the roots off prior to adding them into the tank, because they were going straight from water to water.
Anything I can do here? Should I just start with water changes and adding quick start?
Pictures are day 1, day 2, and today.

Setting up new tank this weekend

Will be setting up this 20H this weekend! I will be cycling for quite a while with live plants before adding any fish. I am leaning towards soil and sand as substrate. I currently have a 3gal with a few fish and have been practicing water changes with a gravel vacuum, and testing the water. Any and all suggestions please!

3 gallon always dirty

I have a 3 gallon which initially started with an African dwarf frog and a male guppy. The filter that came with the tank seemed weak, so I decided to get a snail. A few days later, I also ditched the stick filter and put in a sponge filter. The sponge filter does not seem to do much? There is a layer on the bottom. I had a LOT of shells on top of the gravel, so I thought maybe the crib was getting stuck in the shells so I removed them all. I have only had this tank for about a month, I have rinsed the sponge filter once at the 2 week mark (didn’t look dirty) and again at the 1 month. Am I doing something wrong? How do I get the gravel to stay clean? First two pictures are taken while cleaning, first picture is the whole tank prior to removing the shells.

Is it me? Is it the bag?

I can not get this vinyl to stick. I have been at this for an hour, at this point the plastic is warping but vinyl refuses to stick. This is a canvas tote that my grandma gave me( it is probably 20 years old). I’m using a regular iron on the hottest setting, pressing down for 30sec-1min.

Should I chop my silver sword?

I got this silver sword as a very small cutting last year, and since then it’s gotten much taller and thicker. Should I cut the top half and root it to start over, since the top is so much thicker than the bottom? Thanks!
