I got gaslit by the internet cuz it told me it would only take a few hours to update my resume. Welp, here I am, [number redacted] mont...er, days later, I mean, and I'm finally done.
Grr. Arggh.
But it does look good, I've vetted it, and I'm pleased with the final product. Woot.
Combed through a few other posts on this topic and realized much of the conversation was about libido. However, I wanted to hear more stories pertaining to energy increase instead.
My fatigue and energy levels have been so debilitating for years now and I have tried literally everything in attempt to return to my old self. It's gotten so bad that I haven't been able to work a full time job. And I don't have a spouse or anyone who can pay my bills for me so I have to figure this out asap or else...
Last year a little over a year ago, my perimeno doc made it sound like she was open to prescribing testosterone for perimenopause but at my appt a couple days ago, she expressed way more skepticism about it then I was expecting. She even stated that she now believes that women's testosterone levels simply don't change/fall during menopause...that they don't change until much later, like 60s or later. I'm 48.
Apparently she had just went to a conference that shared some data or study or something about testosterone in women... and I don't know if it's solely due to this event she went to, or if there were other factors, but its crazy to see how much her opinion seemed to change in just one yrs' time.
Nevertheless, I was adamant. We talked around it for a bit but I didn't hesitate to point out there isn't even enough research, period, on the subject, and she didn't disagree.
After that, she ordered a blood panel and agreed that if my T was low enough, we could give it a try.
Within hours of that convo, I got a prescription, and I've started this new journey today.
As such, I'd like to hear other ppl's experiences and how it impacted their energy and brain fog, either positively or negatively.

Edit to add: Looked for a flair option for fatigue/low energy but there wasn't one. Suggestion to mods to add? Or adjust the brain fog one to include fatigue?
Watching show for the first time, and I've just finished s5e19, and I'm legit bummed.
Edie has been my favorite on the show, I might go as far as to say that to me, at least, she was the heart of the show.
Edie was a queen, and Nicollette Sheridan was great in the role. I'll miss that.

Hi friends, I am a first time contributor invited to work on my first project. The onboarding session for this project is listed as being at 130 ET every day, but when I click on the link, the Zoom window states that 'host is inactive'. I've opened a ticket, but wanted to see if anyone here has any tips or insight for how to fix this? TIA!
I've only tried two different estradiol patches - Sandoz and Dotti. For me, Sandoz was a big ole NO-NO, lol. But Dotti has worked, thankfully.
But based on four different conversations I've had with four different pharmacists at three different locations (2 cvs and 1 walgreens), I am very confused about how THEY talk about DOTTI. One had never heard of it, and said she didn't think it even existed. I'd already been on it for months, but that didn't seem to convince her.
Another INSISTED it was a generic brand, but that in her experience, it (the twice a week one) was regularly out of stock. She checked if it was available at other locations, and it wasn't, she told me. Next, she shared that she had plenty of stock of the DOTTI once a week patch, but that my doc would need to update the precription before she could give it to me. I called the doctor's office to have it updated, but they'd already closed for the day, so had to wait until the next day to sort it out.
Doc office updated it first thing in the morning, thankfully. But when I went to pick it up later that same morning, I found out CVS was now out of stock of that one too! What's more, the pharmacist working that morning told me:
DOTTI was a brand name, but proceeded to call it something else entirely. Can't remember what, it sounded like gibberish. He said it multiple times. If I said DOTTI, he immediately said the gibberish word to correct me. I was confused, Im certain he was confused. We were all confused.
Also, that it turned out that the CVS inside Target, a mere 1.2 miles away, had ample availability of the twice-a-week patch, plenty of stock. So he went ahead and sent my scription over there and I was able to pick it up with no additional trouble.
For unrelated reasons, I'm needing to switch my pharmacy to Walgreens, so today I pre-emptively called the one nearest me to confirm if they had any in stock for me to pick up next week, and she started talking about some other kind of estradiol patch, the word she used was also gibberish, and not DOTTI. I asked her if that was another name for DOTTI, she said no, it was a completely different brand. I was like, ok, but what about DOTTI, and she told me the story of another customer who needed a specific brand and that all the generic brands were often out of stock and well...she did end by vaguely implying she would be able to fill a DOTTI prescription on Monday, so even though I was confused, I opted to just....believe her.
So my question is, hunghh???
