I recently got RDR2 on the steam sale and downloaded it to finally try this game after hearing so much about how good it is all these years, I play on my laptop which has a 1920x1080 144hz screen, and I have a shitty 1336x768 60hz monitor on the side I just use for discord or watching youtube, as soon as I open RDR2 it turns off my second monitor and tells me 67.4hz out of range, its really annoying because I want to put something on my side monitor while I play why does it affect it

Hello everyone!! Not sure if this is the right subreddit since r/squishies seems to be dead but I never bought or used squishies before and I'm trying to get some for my friend since she spent 60 euros on like 10 squishies and they were all bad and now she's sad about it.

What she likes in a squishy is the below:

Smells good

Foam

Slow rising

Non sticky

Has some slushy inside for a good crunch sound when squishing.

She tried alot of Squishies so far and its very frustrating because they all either smelled bad or were sticky or not satisfying to squish, she lives in germany for shipping purposes but I don't mind shipping from somewhere else and paying extra fees, she's desperate for a good squishy at this point, any help would be appreciated, thanks

Been playing for about 3 weeks ish, I would say, got some weapons I think I would like, looked up builds for them, started working on them but, how am I supposed to get high level mods or just, some rare mods like lunar or phantasmal or wild etc, when I can't solo nightmare silos, atm I'm stuck at a point where I got my tier 5, 6 star weapons and armor but my mods are like, lvl 10-12, only 1 level 16 on my weapon that was the easiest to get with the crate that costs 6k mod dust, but lets say the guide says to get rejuvenating for my chest with priority lunar, where the F do I go to try and farm that I did like a 13 hour farming day only silos on pro difficulty and I'm still missing a ton of mods and the ones I get aren't high level or only duplicates, I'm stuck where I log on everyday atm and don't know what to do to get better and start being able to solo nightmare silos and max difficulty monoliths, atm monolith of thirst is the only one I can easily solo on the hardest

Okay so I'm new to the game been playing for about 1 week, I found out about the brahminy and the bullet bounces tickle my brain so I'm trying to get this build going, I wanna use a crit build since I would like to use the last valor rifle also and I don't feel like swapping armor sets all the time so I don't want the weakspot build, I was looking through the armor sets and it seemed like the lonewolf set was the clear obvious choice then I started looking at guides and they all say 3 piece savior and 2 piece treacherous, why, I don't get it, if I want crit why wouldn't I use 4 piece lonewolf with the bounce pants key armor and call it a day

I just installed the game a couple days ago, quickly levelled up to level 50 with commission and I have a quick question, I see people running around and they turn blue and run ultra fast sometimes, what is that and how do I get it, is it a deviation? Also it's really hard to find tutorials or look stuff up about this game, so I don't really know what to do and how to build and do damage

I'm 23, still a junior dev, I live in Lebanon, If I'm being honest I really enjoy coding and creating things, I just like solving problems I run into in my normal day to day with my programming abilities and it makes me feel achieved and like I actually have a purpose, like last time we were playing DnD and we needed a way to whisper to eachother without alerting everyone so I made a small mobile app for everyone so they can whisper and send anonymous messages to select people, it was fun, took me 2 days, it's in no way perfect but it works, I made a discord bot that tracks the match history of my friend in game and makes fun of him when he loses with negative kda, all my projects are just passion projects that I do for fun, but companies don't care about all that, it took me more than a year after graduation to get my first job and I get payed below minimum wage, I make more if I worked at McDonald's but I took it because I need experience on my cv which I thought was good since I worked really hard and was studying courses everyday after coming back from uni to learn extra, I managed to learn react, .net and NodeJs all on my own and I built some projects with them also, no one gave a shit about my cv and after applying to hundreds of companies I didn't get a single reply not even a rejection, I got my current job because a relative of mine knows the ceo so he got me an interview and the ceo was impressed and I got instantly hired.

My current job is depressing, all my coworkers don't really try and be good at their job, most of them don't like programming anyways and they vibe code everything and it was really demotivating to try and actually work when the guy next to me gives claude 1 prompt and lets him do 10 hours of work in 5 minutes so I started to get lazy and use claude also recently, I mean maybe that's how much the job is worth considering I get payed $500 and I'm expected to do the work of a full stack engineer and DevOps at the same time but I actually wanna improve I don't want to just become a vibe coder and have no path to get in a better position.

The most demotivating thing for me is I unfortunately don't have any good connections and I see guys who were in my classes who barely went to uni, who failed courses 3-4 times, who do absolutely minimum effort, who I know absolutely don't even know how to write a function, get starting jobs that pay $1.2-1.5k because they know someone in that company or someone helped them get to that position and I sit there having to save up 2 months to buy a mouse for my setup at home and it just makes me depressed, anyways sorry for the big rant I just needed to get this out lol

I have an rtx4060 lenovo LOQ laptop, owned it for about 8 months now, everything was perferct so far until like 3 days ago when I get huuuged fps drops in every game I play, I was getting 15-20 fps on max settings in far cry new dawn even tho it used to be around 90-100,my gpu usage is around 40% and temp is 70, and its using 40watts instead of pulling more idk why and if its something to do with the new drivers or what is happening, and yes my laptop is plugged in and its not in quiet mode, what could the issue be

Like the title said, I always just used those wired earphones you get with your phone and they cost like $7, but today I finally committed and bought a HyperX cloud 3 S Wireless, after watching multiple videos about it and everyone glazing it, I was expecting it to be amazing but I plugged it in and my friends said my mic sounded slightly worse than those shitty earphones, what did I do wrong, what should I do to fix it, where do I start with knowing the best discord settings and EQ and all, shockingly trying to go on youtube and look for EQs made me even more confused with all the different apps and settings and I don't know what sounds good or not tbh so any help would be appreciated

I've been gaming using my cheap $7 old Samsung earphones since I remember, finally decided to upgrade so I stop annoying people with my shitty mic and so I can have good spacial sound, I was looking online and I now know why I never committed to buying a headset because as soon as I find one I like, I look it up and there you go, 100 negative reviews on why it's shit, any recommendations from people who have knowledge would be helpful. The main thing I want is a good mic and spacial audio for in-game awareness, bass is pretty cool also and maybe wireless so I can use it with my phone.

I've considered the HyperX cloud 2, since all my friends have it an swear by it. But people for some reason say it has really bad mic quality even tho I thought my friends sounded fine.

The cloud 3 has better mic but then everyone says it sounds horrible.

I've also considered the Logitech G Pro X2, but then the complaint is that it has a very bad mic and you need alot of setup to get it working well.

I am now completely lost and I don't know what to pick so if there's any sleeper headset y'all recommend let me know my price range is anywhere between $200-350

My less tech savy girlfriend got a discord message from one of her friends that was having a full on conversation with her asker her to try his new game that he finished, it didn't help that he coincidentally was actually working on a game, she said yes, clicked on a link, downloaded it and when she tried to open it windows defender flagged it as not safe, it was 3:00am and she was annoyed so she just spam tried to open it a couple times and she doesn't remember what she clicked if she accidentally allowed it to run, turns out her friend got hacked the same way and the dude having a conversation with her was the hacker. Her friend said as soon as he opened the file he got logged out of discord, this didn't happen to her but she's still worried that something infected her pc because all her accounts, her paypal, her bank is on there.

How can we know for sure that her pc is safe? This happened like 4 days ago and no sign of hackers yet, any help would be appreciated 👍
