Waymo again puts public safety in peril - de young Museum 4:30, 7/24/2026

Fire alarm evacuated the young Museum on Friday 7/24/2026 at 4:30. This bricked Waymo blocked additional emergency vehicles from getting to the scene. When is the city able to do something about this crap?

Edit: funny how many Waymo fanboys are ready to excuse any Waymo issue. The repost was pulled by moderators of r/waymo.

The red SFFD truck stopped, blocked by the Waymo and a car at the curb, SFFD ran out of the truck to the building, another SFFD took a photo of the bricked Waymo then headed to the deYoung. The car at the curb pulled around the Waymo and first fire truck. The Waymo stayed put. The 2nd fire truck was blocked.

Everyone was lucky - this time. There turned out to be no visible fire by the time we left after the original post. The point is that these vehicles are a continuing problem with safety in San Francisco and the issue needs to be dealt with by state officials until the cars have the bugs worked out - not before.

Best approach to repair this crappy drywall corner?

The corner you see in these photos needs to be fixed, after I have almost finished patching and prepping a spare room for painting. I have watched a few YouTubes but I still don’t fully understand corners and “beads”.

Here, it looks like someone used tape and mud, all falling apart, and there is a lot of exposed metal corner showing loose mud or whatever.

Based on the YouTubes my planned approach is to scrape fairly aggressively to remove loose tape and mud, then re-form the corner with quikset or something like that. would you agree? In some videos they add screws to the metal part first. When is that necessary?

Thanks for advice.

Do I just put primer over this?

Update: I did learn my lesson and will never do this again. Thanks for all the practical straightforward suggestions.

Not very experienced. I made my color choice and then realized I am not sure how to handle this wall now. Is it enough to put a primer coat over the whole wall? Do I need to skim coat over these swatches or something? Thanks
