MK12 Mod 0-ish rifle is done. PRI complete upper married to a PRI complete lower.

4473 cans came at a perfect time, and my Allen Engineering AEM5 was transferred on a 4473 as soon as my dealer logged it in.

Wanted to get one last "scary" gun before July, and wanted to support a local store.

Cruised all the local shops and saw this IWI Z-25 18" DMR in 308 at DOA Arms in VA Beach.

Ended up snagging it for a great price.

Apparently I also get a free suppressor for it via a rebate from IWI, so that is cool. Already did the rebate and hopefully it will arrived at my local SOT soon.

What optic should I get for this thing?

Apparently, a large portion of them are defective. They are supposed to have a different power level between the IR pointer on Hi and Lo.

Thus far, 3 out of 3, no difference between power levels.

I'm asking for a refund for both OGL-C and just gonna buy two IRIS for the price of one OGL-C.

u/EMGunslinger sent my upper back this past week and I finally got around to throwing everything on it. Stock optics rail because I am not partial to any one optic for this thing yet.

Just need a sling and I will probably throw a SureFire X300 Turbo-B on one of the side rails.

Have not shot with the Dead Air CT5P yet, but I've heard good things! Hoping to get out to the range tomorrow.

I bought a black OGL-C and 5 min out of the box, the bolt head snapped with finger pressure.

There was also zero difference between IR-AIM Lo and IR-AIM Hi in regards to the IR laser.

Emailed Eotech and they told me- "there should be a difference in brightness between the two settings".

They sent me a label to RMA it.

Stupidly, I bought a 2nd one because despite the issues, I really liked the performance of the OGL-C.

2nd one in Tan arrives today. No mount issues, but again, zero difference between Hi and Low with the IR laser.

So either the CS rep has zero fucking clue what they're talking about, or I got two defective Eotech OGL-C.

Save you money and buy a fucking Holosun IRIS. Eotech is worse than China shit at this point.

I've been dealing with Silencer Shop until recently, because their customer service and leadtime sucks, along with my local dealer having a 2-3 week backlog to even certify and submit.

If I had went thru my dealer who uses Silencer Shop and bought something off the shelf, I would still be waiting to certify and submit.

Street price is regarded, but the price you get it for direct via their MIL/Vet discount was wayy more appealing and figured I'd try it. Gonna try it out tonight when it gets dark at like 2200 lol. Throwing it on my SOLGW MK1.

I have a feeling I'm going to have an even higher opinion of the Holosun IRIS after this. I have both now to compare.

For anyone wanting a Glock-mag PDW, JL Billet makes the Reaper for the RXM. Based on my limited experience with mine, it absolutely fucks. Do with that information what you will.

This thing is pretty badass. Tolerances are definitely tight 🤌🔥
