San Diego California

Has anyone had experience finding an OT placement in San Diego? I was told by a recruiter this wouldn’t be easy, yet I’m a new grad and set on this location. Any advice?

I’m (26F) and find myself often getting set off easy, I get this fomo feeling or upset if there is someone they are close to other than me and I think it comes form childhood. I recognize this but I need advice on how to work through it

Therapist shopping

I have had this therapist for 3 to 4 years now and she’s helped me through a lot. I was going through a lot of anxiety and she really helped me get through it. Now that it is a lot more manageable. I have other things that I wanna work through like relationships and friendships. I’m 24 years old and she’s always says she’s old but if I had to guess she was in her 50s to sixties I just tried to talk about my relationship with her and her advice was really just have fun and relax and how I should be shopping around for men which in this day age when you were in a relationship, that’s not really what you do and I kind of wanted to more dive deep into attachment styles and love languages and just more about love in general. I felt that we’ve kind of plateaued for a while, but I don’t know how to go about maybe finding someone new if it’s therapy or if it’s a psychic or what type of therapy or if I even need it? Thoughts?

FW 2

I have been told that my time at my fieldwork level 2 is over because I was not progressing fast enough.

Staying positive.

My options are 3 months at a new setting or 4 weeks (or more) at the same type of setting. What is the best option if anyone else has been through this?

Level 2 fieldwork

I am really struggling in my level 2 fieldwork. Any words of wisdom or advice? I feel stupid, dumb, and looked down on. I feel like they don’t see potential in me, and I am trying so hard. Please anything I can do that got you all through it.
