KTM Adventure 250 vs Triumph Scrambler 350X - Owners, please share your long-term experience

I recently test rode both the KTM Adventure 250 and Triumph Scrambler 350X, and honestly, I liked both.

On the Adventure 250, I noticed some vibrations around 4.5k RPM, but after that it felt much smoother. I also noticed the bike pulling slightly to one side while riding. The showroom guy said it was because it was a test-ride bike and that the cone set needed replacement.

The Scrambler 350X felt really good to ride. The low-end torque is 🔥 and the bike felt more premium overall. I really liked the way it delivers power.

Now I am confused between the two, mainly because I want something that I can own for several years without worrying too much about maintenance.

Owners of either bike, please share your honest experience:

Which one has lower maintenance and service costs?

What is the real-world fuel efficiency you are getting in city and highway riding?

How comfortable is it for long rides/touring?

Any common issues or problems you have faced?

Any unexpected/extra maintenance costs?

How much do your regular services usually cost?

Any expensive parts that I should be aware of?

How is the service-centre experience?

Anything you wish you knew before buying?

I am not looking for just a buy this one answer. I would appreciate detailed ownership experiences from people actually own and use these bikes.

Thanks 🙏

Doubt regarding Scrambler 400X / Speed 400

Are there any owners of the Scrambler 400X or Speed 400 in this sub?

I’m planning to get one of these two and wanted to ask a few things about the bikes especially from people who have been using them for a while. Would love to hear from actual owners about their experience, mileage, comfort, maintenance, etc.

Thanks in advance!

CB350RS VS VSTROM SX 250

Hey guys,

Need some help choosing between the CB350RS and V-Strom SX 250.

My usage will be:

70km daily college (Mon–Fri)

Almost Sunday I'll be doing 150–180 km rides.

I'm 175 cm, 54 kg.

I already have an old CI Bullet, so I'm not completely new to riding. But I hardly use it now because of the poor mileage (especially with E20 petrol) and it's becoming expensive to use as a daily commuter.

I test rode both bikes.

V-Strom SX:

The bike felt light, but the test ride bike didn't feel well maintained. The handlebar felt quite tight, especially during U-turns and slow-speed manoeuvres. The sales guy said the front tyre had low air pressure and that the test bike wasn't in the best condition. Later I sat on a brand new V-Strom inside the showroom, and the handlebar felt much smoother. So maybe the test bike was the issue.

CB350RS:

Really liked how smooth and refined it was. It also felt lighter than I expected. But for some reason it felt a bit underpowered to me. Maybe it's just me, I don't know.

Considering my usage, which one would you guys choose and why? I'd love to hear from owners or anyone who's ridden both.

Am not from Bangalore, I wanted to post this on r/ indianbikes, but for some reason it keeps getting deleted so that's why i posted here.

Thanks!
