Being a mom/having children in school

I know this question has been asked before but I feel like my situation is unique because I'm non-traditional. I am a 30 year old woman, single, no kids. However, I really hope to meet my future husband soon and want to have kids at some point.

Anyway, I was deciding between PA and med school and was leaning toward PA due to the time investment at my age/more time for children. I don't want a nanny raising my children. I ultimately decided on medical school because I didn't want to make a decision based on a hypothetical situation that may never come to fruition. Ultimately I want to be a physician not a PA. I take my MCAT in Jan, will apply May, hopefully matriculate 2028. So by the time I'm out of residency I will be around 40.

The closer I get to the test and to applying the more I feel incredible dread about my decision and how much the paths I want clash with each other. When I made the decision I was just trying to trust it would all work out and be okay but now I feel ridiculous for taking that approach.

I would so appreciate any input from people in similar situations.

Board rec-Christenson Huntsman or C bucket

Currently riding a 7’6” C bucket that I have a ton of fun on but I wanted to size down once I got really comfortable on this board and I feel like I’m there now. Wanting to go to a 7’0. I’m in Wrightsville so most surfable days are 1-2 or 2-3ft wind swell. I was going to go ahead and get another C bucket but I was reading that the Huntsman might be better for NC conditions. I’m open to other shapers I just lean toward him because the c bucket was the first board I really connected with.

Best method for reviewing FL errors?

I just finished my error log of FL1 but now I have no idea the best way to go about studying it. Flashcards? More content review of topics that were consistently missed? Straight into more practice questions? All of the above? I only scored a 502 so I have many things to go over. The review itself took 2 full days. Here's a picture of part of my CP error log.

Newcomer question about this prayer to the theotokos

I am very new to the Orthodox Church but I believe I have found my new home. I come from a Protestant/non denominational background. Everything that I have read and learned so far about the Orthodox Church makes complete sense to me. The only thing I have trouble with is exalting Mary in a way that sometimes feels excessive. It is the first sentence of this prayer that I don’t understand. I would be very thankful for insight into this language toward her. 🙏🏼

Only a 2 point increase from HL diagnostic to FL1

Goal score is 515. Basically trying to gauge how I should be looking at this situation. I took blueprint half length in January and scored to 500 and then I had full-time course work in the spring and I also was working, volunteering and doing research yadda yadda. I was trying to study for the MCAT during that time, but was only able to do about 10 to 15 hours a week.

Fast-forward to May-that’s when I started studying full-time, but I had pretty big content gaps because I haven’t taken orgo 2, and my physics classes were online, so I admittedly did not apply myself how I wish I did and so I had to brush up on a lot from those classes. Anyway, today I took AAMC’s FL1. After one month of full-time studying I was expecting a bigger point increase because I feel like I’ve learned a lot in this last month but I only scored a 502 (124/126/126/126). My test is scheduled for July 31.

I feel doomed but idk if I’m being dramatic. I really want to apply this cycle and am already going to be applying kind of late by testing 7/31.
