I tore my rotator cuff in October last year not realizing what I had done . I’ve been avoiding many movements with my left arm for 6 months thinking it was something that would eventually heal and now my ROM is pretty bad.
Stupid , I already know. At least now I do.
Currently my PT is performing joint mobilization on my frozen shoulder along with guiding me through stretching and strengthening exercises. My question is , if you have been in the same situation, how painful had the joint mobilization been?
Occasionally it hurts really bad for a few seconds, I think where the tear is, until I let her know, very loudly, how bad it hurt. She specializes in upper torso and has been a PT for almost 20 years so I believe she knows what she is doing. I just get a little scared sometimes that she’s accidentally going to make things worse. It’s seems a bit rough sometimes. Can someone ease my mind please and share their experience? Thank you.
