This isn’t really a Mira question … but how do you stay positive?

For the women in their 40s who are trying to conceive… how do you keep doing this month after month without feeling completely defeated?
Every month starts with hope. You track everything, time everything, analyse every little symptom and tell yourself maybe this is our month. Then you wait. You try not to get too excited, but of course you do. And when that negative test comes or your period arrives, it feels like all that hope disappears in an instant.
Then somehow you’re expected to pick yourself up, start a new cycle and find that hope all over again.
I know getting pregnant in your 40s can be harder and the statistics aren’t always kind, but knowing that doesn’t make wanting a baby any less. It doesn’t make the disappointment hurt any less either.
So for the women who have been doing this for months or even years — how do you stay positive?

Has anyone missed their LH peak before?

This is the first time my LH has only risen to 18, I’m thinking I missed the real peak yesterday? Well I’m hoping so. My LH usually rises to above 30.

Am I seeing things?

Hi ladies, not sure what to make of this. I did a pregnancy test this morning and it was completely negative. I did my Mira test and then another pregnancy test with the same urine sample and I got this …. Not sure if I’m seeing things because I’ve never used this brand of test before. Please help me. Mira says I’m DPO10, but I think I’m about 9.

DPO 12 negative test, could it still turn positive?

I’m 44 years old and currently 12 DPO. I’ve been trying to conceive naturally after IVF and have been tracking my cycle with Mira, so I’m fairly confident I ovulated when it says I did. I’ve been testing every day and all my tests are still negative, but I’m wondering if there’s still a genuine chance they could turn positive over the next few days. I’ve had sore nipples, heavier breasts, creamy discharge, and some dull cramping below my belly button, but I know those symptoms could also mean my period is coming. Has anyone, especially anyone aged 40+, had a negative at 12 DPO and then gone on to get a positive at 13, 14 or even 15 DPO? I’d really love to hear your experiences because I’m trying not to lose hope just yet.

This cycle has me so confused

My pdg hasn’t risen half as high as last month and I have no idea what is happening. Any thoughts? I’m Dpo11 and a negative test this morning.

Strong LH surge but very low PdG on Mira – has anyone experienced this?

Has anyone had a cycle where:
● You clearly ovulated based on LH surge
● Had progesterone-type symptoms (sore breasts, nipple sensitivity)
● But your Mira PdG stayed low or fluctuated a lot?

Mira results completely different to last month - has anyone experienced this?

I’m 44, TTC naturally after several unsuccessful IVF cycles, and I’m really confused by what’s happening this month.
Last cycle my hormones followed a pretty textbook pattern. My E3G rose nicely, my LH surged around CD12, and Mira confirmed ovulation.
This month is the complete opposite. My hormone levels are much lower than they were at the same point last cycle, my LH tests have actually gotten lighter over the last couple of days, and according to my previous cycles I feel like I should have ovulated by now.
A few details:
Currently CD13
E3G was 175.2 yesterday
LH strips have been fading rather than getting darker
Very little fertile mucus
Mira has pushed my predicted ovulation back to CD15

Has anyone had a cycle where their Mira chart looked completely different from the month before, but they still went on to ovulate a few days later than expected?
Would love to hear your experiences because I’m trying not to panic and assume this cycle is a write-off.

Title: 44 years old, 10 DPO, negative test… what do you think of my Mira chart?

Hi everyone,

Looking for some honest opinions on my Mira chart because I feel like I’m driving myself crazy analysing every number. I’m currently 10 and my pregnancy tests are still negative.

I’m 44 years old and have done 3 unsuccessful IVF rounds. After the last round I was basically told my eggs are “too old” and that I’m “too old,” which honestly crushed me. This cycle is natural and I know the odds aren’t exactly in my favour, but I’m still holding onto a tiny bit of hope.

I’ve had some symptoms that feel different for me — cramping/twinges, sleep issues, feeling hot overnight, sore nipples earlier in the luteal phase — but I also know progesterone can troll you hard.

Would really appreciate any thoughts on my chart from people who know Mira better than I do. Does anything look promising or does it look like a normal non-pregnant luteal phase?

Thanks for being kind 🤍
