I just got out of a marriage that I'm slowly realizing was probably worse than I thought. My self-esteem was pretty low, because my partner would routinely make passive aggressive comments about my aging looks (I'm in my 40s), my weight, hair, etc. I'm now alone, and decided to join hinge mostly just for some human interaction.

So I was frankly shocked (and skeptical) when I matched fairly quickly with a really beautiful woman, who's also smart (and in higher tax bracket) I decided to skip the endless messaging and proposed meeting for drinks. We hit it off great. We went on a second date and we ended up sleeping together (which was also great?)

But now my head is kinda spinning, because I have no idea quite how I got here? She's telling me that I'm attractive, and a little voice is back there saying "there's a catch! This is too good!"

I know I'm lucky to have this "problem" but I just can't quite wrap my head around all this.

I rode by there today and it smelled like a garbage dump.

I'm looking for a gym and have narrowed it down between the two. I'm not a diehard bodybuilder. I just want to go to a place where I can do 4-5 compound workouts in about 30 mins and get out. Nothing against gym enthusiasts, but I don't want to go where people hang out around the free weights and take up space.

I'm looking for a little free library close to midtown. I have some kid's books I want to drop off. Are there any around here? Doesn't have to be the official Little Free Library.

So, after looking at what's available in my area, I chose Xfinity because it was the cheapest. My 5 year payment was going to be $46. I was going to have my equipment mailed to me, but then I realized there's a store nearby so I changed it to pick up in the store.

When I get there I tell one of the guys that Im here to pick up my equipment. He looks up my info and then says "For this plan, you have to sign up for mobile service." I tell him no, that's not what I signed up for. But he's like "Yeah, they don't tell you that part online." I'm confused, so I tell him to go ahead. He then says it's going to be $60 a month, and he needs my current phone and ssn. That was the final straw and told him Im out, I'll look elsewhere.

I go out and call customer service (had to ask chat got for the #) and they said that they would just mail to me, and I would keep the 5 year $46 a month plan.

So their store workers are allowed to lie and strong arm customers into purchasing a mobile plan? What kind of business allows this? This feels illegal. Not sure if it's worth the cost.

I recently took my family to the theme park and water park here on a Friday. The place was deserted, which you would think would be awesome (no lines!) but it really laid bare how weak this place is. The roller coaster was awesome, but everything else is spinning around, fair-type rides. Not even a cool Ferris wheel though? And several of the rides were out of commission.

The food was pretty pricey, but the goat place was alright. The water park was pretty cool, but there was an awful smell on the right side of the building. We walked around the "downtown" area, and it was also pretty deserted.

I get that it was on a weekday. But how does this place make money? It seems like a huge money sink. I'm baffled by this entire place.

I'm considering a move to woodshire townhomes. They places looked great online, but when I drove past them some of the units looked a little run down. Can any current or past residents tell me about this place? What's the vibe like?
