Just platinumed Ai-Limit. What was everyones thoughts on the game?

Just platinumed Ai-Limit. What was everyones thoughts on the game?

I thought the game was good but not incredible.

Combat was pretty basic for a souls game. Dodging & parrying felt great. But everything else was pretty basic.

The 2nd and 3rd playthough were a little more fun because you got access to all the end game weapons (Mercy my beloved)

The sync rate system was really well done and I hope we get to see that implemented in another game.

Enemy variety was okay, bosses werent anything special (except Ursula & Loskid those were all timers).

The game was relatively easy too including NG+ & NG++. Some levels were challenging at first but nothing crazy. Aside from Loskid and Ursula the bosses were a complete pushover. Maybe the easiest in the entire genre?!

Would I recommend this game to someone who isnt into souls games? Probably not unless youre into anime style games. But Id absolutely recommend this game to the souls community.

But let me know your thoughts!

[Thank Goodness Youre Here] What a hilariously weird game that I recommend everyone try

As someone who just beat Wuchang, I don't think some of the bosses not dying from Patch 1.5 affected the game that much?

I remember this patch being a pretty big story and people getting upset over it. And I thought it would affect me buying the game but I actually completely forgot about the whole thing lol, until I got to Ming General and he didnt die.

Granted Im not all too familar with Chinese censorship.

But from a gameplay point of view. It was kind of odd some of the bosses didnt die.. but I didnt really care/mind? I still adored this game

[Final Fantasy Collection] Besides Type-0 and FF14. Am I missing any notable FF platinums?

u/IndyThang — 3 months ago

Whats everyones take on World of Final Fantasy?

Just finished the platinum. The general mechanics are pretty fun and somewhat unique. The story is solid and its always fun hanging out with our classic FF characters. This game feels like a neat starting point for a younger generation as well as a fun spinoff for longtime FF fans.

My general critiques is that the everything in this game needs fine tuning. For example:

The menu system is easy to follow along but is sooo slow to change your setups. Having to swap out my mirages felt like walking in mud.

Theres a lot of cool battle cutscenes but why the hell arent they skipable. I summoned Bahamut 100+ times, i dont need to see his longass summon or mega flare animation every time. FFX literally had a menu setting to skip these cutscenes.. insane WoFF doesnt have that option.

Capturing mirages is easy/fun to follow, but since they join your party at lvl 1 theres not a lot of incentive to change your loadout. I personally used mirages that I obtained in the first couple of hours until the end. I really only swapped them out for the odd boss fight.

And platinuming this game is just not fun. The "Legendary Caretaker" trophy is just so brutal. The description is very vague and theres no where online that clearly states whats required. I fully mastered almost all the mirage families. All this non-sense about gold / silver stars just didnt work for me. I was so relieved once this game was completed.

[Eternal Strands] Man I really wanted to love this game. But it just wasnt that fun in the end

The game looks beautiful. It has an interesting premise.

But its such a janky game. Combat is fine until you need to climb anything. Movement is incredibly awkward and you feel like a bowling ball most of the time.

The story is a nothing burger with nothing characters.

But by far the worst part of the game. Is the god awful mechanic of not being able to pick up items while "in combat". This game is 95% fetch quests were you're constantly running around trying to get items. But if even the smallest enemy from far away is aggroed on you, then you cant pick up the item. Then you need to run around trying to find the enemy.

Absolutely Infuriating

Does anyone know why my dough came out so puffy or why my pizza stone broke 😭😭

For reference I did 62% hydration.

6 hour bulk rise outside the fridge.

48 hour cold fermentation.

I let the dough rest at room temp for 3 hours.

Preheated oven to 550 with the stone in for 1 hour.

baked for 6 minutes at 550 degrees in a convection oven. I have no clue why the dough came out like that. (It was still really good thankfully)

And 0 idea why my stone broke lmao

Edit: Clarified my methodology

How did people like Armoured Core 6? Ive tried multiple times now but it just doesnt really click for me

Ive played every souls game + Sekiro Fromsoft has put out and am always blown away by them.

But AC6 just isnt clicking for me. The game has been installed on my ps5 for over two years now and ive tried so many times to get into it. But have never really liked the feel of it

[Mortal Shell] I hope the sequel fixes the jank. Platting this game was a pretty miserable experience

I think if this games plat didnt require the no shell run it would be a servicable souls game that id recommend to others.

But man that no shell run is just awful. Specifically the last boss is just dreadful with the horrendous hit boxes and camera/rolling thats constantly fighting you.

[Lego Horizon Adventures] This game had a very unnessecary grind at the end. And why was this even a lego game?

This game had a fun 5 hour window. The rest was pretty boring and lame.

Especially the grind to max out all player levels. The devs either didnt think through that trophy or the level system in general. Ive never seen a game where you have 100% of the story content done but your character levels arent even close to max. Insane.

Not sure why its even a lego game.
