No Mention of Gaza in the DNC’s 2024 Autopsy? Seriously?

No Mention of Gaza in the DNC’s 2024 Autopsy? Seriously?

There is an attitude around here that criticizing Democrats, rather than making them stronger is just sabotage.

That is the attitude of people who have convinced themselves that democracy is nothing more than a brand, a sham and that debate and responsiveness can never actually exist.

That is the attitude of someone who believes that malicious authoritarianism's only competitor is technocracy that pretends democracy as a sham.

How do we talk about this?

The 25th amendment is for being incapacitated.

He's not incapacitated, he's human garbage.

And the fact that the Republicans won't impeach and convict him makes them human garbage!

Abdul El-Sayed 80% support in 18-44 age group

I don't really understand the context but I see multiple sources, including this article and The Majority support saying that Abdul El-Sayed surging like this proves that mainstream democrats throwing up Hassan Piker backfired.

What I said a week ago was that putting chum in the water by screaming "tankie" to defend Democratic leader's supporting Israel's demolition of Lebanon and Gaza is a way for Democrats to lose on our core issue of being the party that is AGAINST war in the middle east because Chuck Schumer is the only person who thinks that our war on Iran can be separated from Israel's war on Iran and Lebanon.

It's a Nazi dual state.

And the rulings of the court against Trump's lawlessness will have to show themselves to have power in what is left of America after Trump and the Republicans have ruined it.

If the courts have no power, this will call into question the Democrats policy of relying on courts to protect people and fight the regime. If it turns out that that can't work, then we will need a new strategy to take power to protect people in blue states and hold out against Fascism.

*A dual state is a term coined by German political scientist Ernst Fraenkel to describe the Nazi legal system, that treats friends of the regime differently than enemy populations. Dual State (wikipedia)

To get a clue for how reliable this is, I googled for "Factpost news" and was told that it's run by the DNC and staffed by "veterans of Kamala Harris' social media team".

But they're brownshirts who just tweeted that they're going to hunt down and kill all the anti-Fascists.

Can someone explain to the Democratic leadership why they're the most pathetic people in history and no one can put any trust in them?

The disappointment I feel in them at least monthly manages to match the disgust I feel in the Republican Fascists.

My heart is in my shoes.

Explanation: I gave plenty of examples in the comments but the principle here is that in DHS we don't have rule of law under this administration, we have what is referred to as a double system by historians of the Nazis. It is not rule by laws, it is rule OF law. And it distinguishes between the despot's friends and his enemies before it distinguishes by principle or justice. And it distinguishes by race to decide who to protect and who to police.

It victimizes whole populations. And Democrats can not afford to normalize a white supremacist system of enforcement that occupies our cities and commits crimes against humanity in an ethnic cleansing and which proudly proclaims Fascist values and slogans.

We have other systems of enforcement to rely on and we just have to give up on allowing Homeland Security any legitimacy.

If people are to believe that the Democrats mean to restore a rule of law that is colorblind and fair to everyone and keeps its promises to nonwhite people and to people with anti-Fascist values, then they have to signal that they are on our side, not the side of masked Fascists, concentration camp guards and their bosses.

You don't work with, give funding to, give powers to the enemy under any circumstances.
This isn't George Bush's DHS, this is Stephen Miller's DHS. This is the Proud Boys' DHS.

This is the fist of the white supremacists.

The stakes are that we don't know how long Fascism will last, and if we are not a solid, immovable opposition party to Fascism, then we're the collaborators who helped the Fascists take over by not being too confrontational! By not getting in the way of Fascism solidifying its institutions!

This is not about the specific bill, it's about the Democratic party understanding how to bulldoze a Fascist insurrection that came from the top.

It's about being clear what the stakes are and making that clear to the citizens.

And delegitimizing the institutions that have been captured and subverted by the enemy.

We're working with the Republicans, giving our citizen's information to a Fascist government.

NEVER DO THAT!

We're working with Fascist "law" enforcement and Fascist "justice" system that just commits crimes against people for Trump and for Stephen Miller.

NEVER DO THAT!

There are two ways that politicians can handle living under Fascism. They can fight it, or they can collaborate.

If you are comfortable politicians living under Fascism and supporting the institutions of a Fascist government, you're just collaborating. You are helping Fascism thrive.

In WWII Europeans were smart enough to fight Fascism. History will not be kind to politicians who are comfortably supporting Trump's bureaucracy now.

Democrats dispirit everyone who cares about humanity when they become collaborators. And just maybe they gird up Fascism to thrive for decades more and destroy millions more lives.

So lets figure this out.

I'm not a rich man, I can't afford luxury. I need to know whether it's cheaper to buy tokens of these models from their original owners or from Microsoft or if it's close.

If it's close then the fact that copilot has pre-indexed the github repositories is enough of a reason to just prefer Microsoft rebranded AIs.

If it's a lot more expensive through Github then it's still worthwhile when exploring github repositories but not the rest of the time.

Stop, just stop.

Get rid of whatever pre-prompt clause some damn executive put in to make Gemini always try to end every conversation by combining everything talked about into a single question to very very obviously try to keep the user engaged.

The engagement question never makes any sense!

You have an entire conversation that makes sense, is useful, is informative, then you end it with obvious engagement bait that is just a mishmash of nonsense because the poor model couldn't think of a question that ties everything you talked about together.

Stop it, just stop it!

And stop trying to make it tie together topics that don't relate to each other, it's obviously an attempt at making the user feel like the model is paying attention to what you've been doing but it's manipulative and the poor model isn't good at being manipulative.

It's already good at finding information and being helpful. Stick to what it is good at and don't try to shoehorn a marketing department into it.

And if you check r/GeminiAi you'll find that plenty of other people are complaining about this too.

Thanks for listening.

I'm posting this under "bug" because trying to force the model to manipulate the user in ways that don't make sense fails. It just completely and totally fails. This is a feature that was not only a bad idea but which intersperses your conversations with nonsense and ends every conversation with nonsense!

You didn't win by putting this in!

Wrong joke but my actual point is that Democrats have to learn to have steel spines and stop trying to get along.

We don't have opponents we have enemies that need to go to prison in the largest RICO case in history.
