So a coworker (31M) that I (29F) have a big crush on is unfortunately taken. He has a long term girlfriend. I only see him once or twice a year since we work in different corners of the company. We have a yearly catch up, and last year when I learned he was dating a girl from college my heart broke! But whatever. I kept chatting him up on the rare occasions I would see him. Most recently he staffed one of our events, and we continued talking. He referenced that he is still with his gf, never naming her but saying “WE have a lot of weddings to go to this summer”, etc etc. He knows I’m interested in him, it’s hard for me to hide. But obviously I would never make a move since he is taken. I posted on LinkedIn about the event, with a photo of me and some coworkers. He “love” reacted. What does the love react mean? And why not just a simple like? He also went out of his way to find me at this event. Any advice helps!

Hello all! I’m a current university staff (not to brag but I have very well honed and well practiced painting and drawing skills) and I’m strongly considering applying for my MFA with the hope of being able to get a lecturer role post-grad. I work with continuing lecturers and their jobs seem way more enjoyable than mine. Do any arts/humanities lecturers have any perspective for me? Is this a good idea, and are there good opportunities out there for painting/drawing MFAs? Would you recommend it? Thanks !

I (29 F) went to an art group about 30 min outside my town to meet other artists and new people. Most of the people there were my age, very friendly and I had a nice time. The guy who led the group (32M) was completely charming. He was a talented artist, smiley, outgoing and clearly had great people skills. I’m 5’11 and he can’t be taller than 5’7. I don’t care. I am crushing on him. I keep thinking about him, he is so friendly and a fantastic artist. I won’t see him again for another month till the next meetup. I am wondering if it is creepy or too soon for me to follow him on insta or DM him. What move do I make on him? How do I let him know I’m interested
