Email Overload

The bullshit emails are out of control. From the time I left work Friday afternoon to this morning (Tuesday) my personal SW email has *39* new emails. Thirty-fucking-nine. Over a three day period which was a *weekend*. The vast majority of them are those stupid “no-reply” or “mindtickle” or the daily/weekly SW digest. It’s ridiculous, and the actually important emails get lost in the shuffle. I know I can block and redirect specific senders, but the better solution would be for SW to realize that we don’t need to send out the equivalent to a dictionary worth of useless words each week via email.

Weird Bug I Just Noticed

I just noticed in the last few days a weird bug that’s started to present itself. I’ve been playing BR1 USA for a bit now after grinding the Soviets to BR4. The bug I noticed is that, when playing as Americans, some of the little catchphrases that the troops will say are in the wrong language. It’s never my player character, always a nearby AI, but Americans are speaking Japanese. I’ve only noticed it happen on games against Germany, maybe it happens in games against Japan too, and I just don’t notice because I’m expecting to hear some Japanese in these games. It’s weird when I’m running around as Americans, playing against Germans, and suddenly I hear an AI shout something in Japanese. I’ve also only noticed it with American squads, I haven’t noticed it yet while using a British squad. Has anyone else come across this? I don’t really care that much, it doesn’t ruin the game or anything, it’s just very strange when it happens.

Explosion Packs

Did the explosion packs get nerfed? I just played a BR II game and hit a Pz.III E with two packs, one went off on the ground directly behind/under the rear of the tank, and one went off while sitting on the fender over one of the tracks. All that happened was one of the radiators was damaged to yellow, the turret ring was damaged to yellow, and the track was damaged to orange.

Those of yall that tie your own bass jigs but don’t pour your own, where do you usually source your jig heads? I can’t get set up to pour lead for another handful of months, but I’m looking to start tying a lot more jigs, so I need more “bulk” as opposed to the expensive 3 packs. By bulk I mean I’d be trying to buy about 10 of each size and head shape at a time. Looking for quality hooks (I’ve broken the hook on three Booyah tour grade football jigs so far this year) and good prices. Thanks!

Do you like doing extra work because somebody else fucked up? Do you like not getting deliveries on time? Do you like running out of your fastest moving products because they just flat out don’t send you what you order? Then Statesville is the DSC for you! Bunch of incompetent clowns over there.

I’m looking for a good hip or lumbar pack. One with a yoke would be preferable. There’s plenty of them on the market, but it seems like the options are to get something affordable that’s low quality, or spend an inordinate amount of money on a good to high quality one. What’s everyone using? I’d also like to avoid having to build out a whole system by buying the hip belt, yoke, pack, and pouches separately like with Eberlestock. I know it’s high quality, but that’s an easy way to end up spending $400 just to get a hip pack that’s worth a damn. I’ll be using it for hunting mostly, and fishing as well.
