Should I get the IX xdrive50 or an Acura MDX?

Both cards seem to come highly recommended in terms of reliability and performance. One is gas powered, one is electric.

I’m thinking of switching to electric cause this kind of where the future is heading anyway. But I’m curious to hear others on the IX. Does the battery drain significantly if it’s not used constantly? Do the batteries last a long time? Or are they dependent on the warranty /new/preowned?

I know electric cars don’t require much maintenance compared to gasoline cars, but what major issues should I be aware of if I got a preowned IX?

I also heard the IX had some battery recall issues a few years back. Is that resolved? Or do I have to be wary of getting a preowned and just opt with new?

Where’s Rukia in this collection?

I didn’t see her at all. They even made the effort of putting something for LOLY of all characters. But no Rukia?

Undecided between a BMW x5 and Acura MDX. Need Help

I'm a single guy, but I want to get a car that signals "I'm ready to start a family". I'm coming from a Nissan Altima, so transmissions and engines are important to me. It's why I don't want to go for something like a turbo engine on the new lexus models, they're not well optimized and I'm concerned they'll overheat compared to natural aspiration engines.

I test drove the MDX and X5 (2026 models), both felt good, but for some reason, the MDX had more interior features to it and the X5 felt minimalist. Not sure if that's the right word to describe it, felt weird with the neon lights.

I know going for an MDX is overkill for a single guy like me, but I want a car for the long term too. I know the MDX has that timing belt that needs replacement at 100000 miles, but which car is better in terms of reliability/maintenance? Like I said, I'm coming from a Nissan Altima I don't want to keep going to the shop to get something repaired.

I'm thinking even if I get a pre-owned, which car is best for me?
