I guess I wasn't really expecting it, but I wanted to write this as a farewell message to the community. This has been difficult but I'm glad at the progress the community has grown into from nothing. So I'll resign as moderator.

But I feel I want to break away from Bleach as a whole. I'm kinda done with the series and only want to see what the anime has in store, aka the real "story" kubo wanted to do 10 years ago. But I'm also disappointed that we're only getting 50 episodes as opposed to the original 52 episodes that were promised. What happened? My guess is a few things:

1. They had significant production issues and had to cut the amount of episodes back

2. They decided to move some things that were meant for the anime to Mirrors High/the hell arc

3. Kubo and his huge ego decided to move interesting things from the anime to the hell arc cause it's his manga and wants to torture his fanbase through weekly releases

I don't really have it in me to follow these decade-long sequels/revivals that have been in the mix (scrubs, malcolm in the middle, that's so raven). They tend not to be all that great cause they rely on nostalgic moments without really focusing on what made those nostalgic moments special.
