I lost a family member recently and they haven't added a nominee. So I have submitted the claim at the office. It was rejected last time because of a few signatures mismatched (Two different people signed, Family member's workplace). This time I again submitted the claim at the office. But the issue is I am getting no updates regarding the claim status. Only the deceased member's office is getting the information on whether the claim is rejected.

Is there any way I can check the status online?

Also, Along with the amount in the pf account, I have heard that in case of death, we can receive an insurance amount of 7 lakhs. For that amount, Is there any separate process or will it be considered along with the request for withdrawal?

Kindly help! It has been so many months and each time it's getting rejected for some or the other reason.

Yesterday night, I had a dream.

I was sleeping on the bed and I felt my loved one touch me on the hand jokingly. So I was also trying to touch them back. I streched my hand to reach out to them, At this point I can clearly see my loved one beside me on the bed. Physically I have my eyes open, I could see them and as I streched my hand and moved my hand towards them, I couldn't touch them and then came out of my sleep and realised that they are no more and I can't touch them.

Is this normal? Does this mean something?

Or is this because I have been thinking more about them lately?
