Anyone else like their scars?

Does anyone else have an unhealthy attachment to how scarred they are? mine aren’t even that intense, just purple lines at a slight dip or raise, maybe. But I have an unhealthy attachment to staring at them and tracing them, writing about them constantly. Am I weird for this?

Dream interpretation help???

Idk if this is classed as a nightmare or not—it felt like it—but I had a dream last night thats been sticking with me through the whole day. the first half was just nonsense that I couldn’t even begin to describe, but the second half… I remember it in incredible detail.

So, irl, heres some info you may need: I have two half siblings—we have the same mother bht different dads, my brothers dad is dead and died to cancer when I was about four years old, and my mother is going through psychosis.

In the dream, for some reason, we—‘we’ being my siblings—were going back in time to change some events of the past. But somehow, we found my brothers dad still alive, and he was living in one of those white houses from tjat one Backrooms level of a bunch of white houses in a bright glass plane. I was alone, and was following footprints that were described as hooves in the dream. My mother—who was a snake in the dream—had somehow followed us through the time travel, and for some reason went to kill my brothers dad??? I tried to stop her but I couldn’t move, and I watched her try to murder him before he—as a lion—ended up killing her.

we were told to dispose of the body by him, and my sister hauled this big snake out of the back door before just nonchalantly saying that she had to go to work at the time she usually leaves for work irl… And then I woke up.

Any idea what this means, anyone???

How does one watch the Spider-Man movies?

Hi there!!! I’m so sorry if I’m wasting anyone’s time, but I’m interested in watching the Spider-Man movies, and am unaware of which films i should start with. I’m most interested in the Tom Holland ones, but if I have to start with any others, I will. Anyone know of the set timeline???

If there was a zombie apocalypse, heres my strategy!!!

Let’s set the scene: My sister, brother and I are all on a walk together when the outbreak happens. Since we currently live in a small town, we don’t even hear about the outbreak until we check our phones back at home and our neighbours start to freak out outside.

The moment it becomes a blind panic in the streets—knowing our neighbours, the knowledge that theres a zombie apocalypse at all would have them all in a frenzy—I’m starting to pack. We probably have a little time, so I’m grabbing my biggest bag—unfortunately a medium-sized ita bag—and filling it with four cans of food from our cupboard, canned drinks, and grabbing all of our old metal water bottles and quickly rinsing them clean before filling them with as much water as I can. Filtered in a few, tap water in another few. Thanks to how crafty my family is, we’ll have quick label-making supplies around, so that’ll be fine. I’ll stuff the rest of the bag with hand towels to muffle the clinking of the stuff, plus it’d be super handy to have towels on hand.

We’ve probably gotta go soon, but I’ll calm my siblings quickly before grabbing one of my dad’s backpacks—let’s say the parents on vacation—and filling that with extra supplies. I’m an anxiety filled person, so I’ll likely be bringing useless things/comfort items as well. Candles, my trusty notebook and any pens I can find (probably all out of ink, LMAO), a few plushies, bandages and a thing half empty antibacterial ointment, my wallet, my old hoodie, a spare change of clothes thats more suited to the opposite season (vest top for Summer, thick black shirt for Winter, stuff like that), period pads, hand moisturiser for my bro, an extra few pairs of undies, and ensuring that my sister brings her bottle cap collection (just in case we go down the Fallout route as a society, y’know?). Anything little that won’t fit can go into my unreasonably massive pockets.

Just before we leave, I’m rushing into the kitchen to grab our longest and shortest knives. And whilst I’m being annoying and delaying our leave, I’ll grab my headphones and hope I recently charged them (just in case theres an opportunity to look out of a car window and brood for a few minutes to my Mitski/Cavetown/Sufjan playlist or something).

As we’re on the road, I’ll eventually have to ditch my cane (that I use for my chronic illnesses) due to how noisy it is, but breaks from walking will be more frequent anyways due to my siblings’ own chronic illnesses. I have enough of an ego to think that I could deck a zombie if I had to, so my end would likely be to holding off a few biters for my siblings, or perhaps my own hands due to either chronic pain or how dirty I’d feel. If I was the last survivor of my siblings, I would either end it all myself after about a day of having no one to talk to, or survive in the shadows and become a loner.

Sorry for the yapping, but what do you think? If I didn’t have my siblings, would you have me on your apocalypse team???

I am desperate for tips

it is currrentry six AM. I have not slept more than around five hours because it feels like there is a rock in my butt 😭 Every time I move it shocks chills up my body and causes me to feel really cold, but I can’t use a blanket because it’s too hot outside. I drank some liquid laxatives before bed and a ton of water, but all it’s done is made me feel like I need to pee urgently every few hours. Literally what do I doooooo

Update: I’M FREE!!! Okay, so basically what worked for me was this: I saw ONE person comment about it on a TikTok… Grip the toilet paper roll as a stress toy 😅 THAT EMOTIONAL SUPPORT HELPED!!! If you’re constipated, bring a stress toy and squeeze it with your poop contractions. (Also, I had to manually reach up there and jostle it a little, which wasn’t mh finest moment, but that helps too-)

It’s one AM, I’m so tired, it feels like both sides each have a rib threatening to pop out

I’m really tired and I can’t do this anymore. I’m in a bad situation and I can’t take enough time i need to rest, or pace correctly, because I have to be constantly on my feet doing stuff to be seen as enough to keep around. the house will also fall apart both emotionally and chore-wise if I don‘t stop, and I’ve been pushing myself so far that my ribs keep sliding about.

It’s so late at night and i need some sleep for my stupid atupid wake up time, but I can’t go to bed because my ribs keep threatening to fully come out. Theres no good side to lay on because each one has a few ribs screaming at me, my shoulder doesn’t feel comfortable unless hyper extended and I can’t do that without worsening this, I’m in so much pain and I’m so so tired.

sorry for the long rant but I’m so sick of doing all of this. I need sleep so bad but it won‘t come to me because of my stupid ribs.

Edit: i can’t lay flat on my back to help both sides because I can’t breathe like that, and my stomach has been the top rib-dislocater for sleep positions. I can’t lie down and I’m so tired and I need sleep and I can’t do this shit anymore

When my brother is having a meltdown, he doesn’t want to be touched or spoken to. He carries guilt for stating his wants no matter how much reassurance I give, and I wish I could help more ♡ Is there any way I can help? Sorry!

Hi there, so sorry if I’m wasting anyone’s time, but I just made a mistake that caused my autistic brother (they go by he/they) a meltdown. It was an accident—I used their bedsheet instead of mine when I changed their bed when they were out of the house.

They pointed this out to me about twenty minutes ago, and once I was told, I instantly moved all of the plushies off of my bed and started to change the bedsheet. He has specific sensory issues with bedsheets, and I didn’t even realise I had used the wrong sheet. I apologised, offered to put the sheet somewhere whilst they work before washing it, reassured him whenever they apologised, and offered to help if they needed me further before leaving, just in case having company would cause another meltdown.

I feel very very bad for this, but I’m also disabled mysslf and my heart rate was elevated a severe amount whilst changing the bedsheet, so I feel like I could’ve handled the situation better had I not been having a POTS attack.

Did I at least do okay? And whether I handled that okay or not, does anyone have any tips on how I can help better in the future? Thank you for reading!
