Looking for suggestions on a vacuum and garbage can themed party lol

(Posted in toddlers but got a notification to post here) will just add that he doesn’t like the sound of vacuums, just seeing them and the toy ones with the sound off lol.

My son is turning 2 next month, he’s very into vacuums, garbage cans, mops and well that’s it. I figured what better place to ask than a toddler forum, surely someone else has a kid who loved vacuums so much they had a vacuum themed birthday party?

Anyways, I’m trying to figure out how to do this, where to find decorations, what decorations to do, I have a friend willing to use her cricut but the best I’ve got so far is getting a sign that says “it sucks to be two” with a vacuum on it, and making him a shirt with a vacuum on it. I could kinda go with a cleaning party theme maybe.

Any and all suggestions on bringing this to life are welcome, I am not good at planning off the wall parties 😂 his/my baby shower was blue for boy for context

Looking for sci-fi/dystopian type books

Ive read too much political intrigue over court/kingdoms in typical fantasy. I need some recs to use during my fantasy break lol

I’m imagining a sci fi/dystopian romance series, first person POV is a must, more plot than spice, preferably no more than a 3/5 on the spice scale, 5-7 spicy time scenes in a book is plenty.

I liked the 100 a lot , but I despise reading third person POV. I want something similar to {The 100 by Kass Morgan} but in first person POV.

I like aliens, or maybe a human from earth ending up in space like the {intersolar union series by Etta pierce}. (Or like the 100 a human from space has to go to earth)
The {in death by jd robb series} was good.

Other than what I’ve mentioned here and super popular sci fi/dystopian like the maze runner, the hunger games, divergent, I haven’t read any other sci fi/dystopian books

Like the show continuum

Edit to clarify. I am looking for BOOKS only.
(I know some images aren’t the show) It’s basically this cop that comes from the future back to 2012. A cop from 2077 is transported to 2012, and she’s trying to help the police get the terrorist group from 2077 who escaped to 2012. There’s a lot of moral and ethics debate. Imagine like a sci fi romance but it’s a detective and a woman from the future or vice versa like the detective goes into the future.

Looking for books with a lot of emotional depth, I want it to make me cry.

Pretty much the title, I’ve read all of auryn Hadley/AH Hadley and while I enjoy her work it’s not tear worthy, at least not to me. {court of ravens by Liv Zander} did actually make me cry at the end. I really haven’t cried at anything else though.

I only ask it’s first person POV, preferably a series that is NOT a series of standalones… but a standalone itself is fine as long as it isn’t a novella/super short. I have a tough time being interested in third person POV and like to live in a story for a while.

Generally disliked characters

I was complaining about Diem from {the kindreds curse saga} and didn’t realize people actually agreed they didn’t like her. It got me wondering what main characters people don’t like even if you liked the book or finished the book/series. So who don’t you like, and why? (Say what book it’s from, I’m sure we don’t all know them all)

Kindreds Curse Saga is annoying me, I LOVE Luther, I want more of *him*

I am invested in finishing the series, I even think it’s good, it’s just frustrating in the good reading way and I don’t want to be frustrated… but I am also really annoyed by it. The FMC is just an idiot. Luther is an ideal MMC. I like the tension and the avoiding a sex scene but very other chapter. I like thee build up, and him wanting her before she even cares about him. I, ideally, don’t read anything more than 3/5 spice for the whole series.

Any recommendations that are similar to this dynamic where there’s a Luther MMC but the FMC isn’t so in denial and against self preservation? Ideally first person POV. I like how the MMC has to look after and be loyal to the FMC, I like the political intrigue well enough, but I’m more interested in the world building building, the friends and drama of them etc.

I don’t want to spoil things, if you’ve read book 1 and 2, that’s all I’ve read so this won’t spoil anything for you.. >!I just hate how Diem denies things that are giant flashing signs of truth, like fucking obviously she’s powerful, obviously she’s not a mortal, of course henri isn’t right for her even if she hasn’t said that yet, of course he wants to use her, of course Luther and her belong together not that they are yet etc.!<

{Fourth wing by Rebecca Yarros}

I saw a post in here a while ago about this, but can’t find it again. First, what is the book everyone says that seems like fourth wing is a rip off of? I couldn’t re find that comment.

I like the seemingly actual sub plot of romance(I’ve just finished the first and maybe 5% into the second) and the escapism of fourth wing. The world is immersive.

I like the dragons a lot, the other creatures are interesting as well.

Is there anything similar as in epic/high fantasy series, that has dragons *and* fae? The academy/military trope is nice but not necessary. I used to read just only romance but lately I’ve really enjoyed less romance, more fantasy.

The >!third act break up in every fucking romance I read, including this one, is old!< and I’d love to not read that again if possible lol
