I just switched over from Samsung, and this is my first time using an Honor phone. I'm still getting used to MagicOS and want to make sure I'm not missing out on any hidden gems.

I'd love to hear your favorite tips, tricks, or settings tweaks, especially around:

• Battery & Performance: Best ways to optimize battery life and handle demanding open-world RPGs without overheating.
• Camera Settings: How to get the most natural shots and tone down heavy AI post-processing.
• MagicOS Features: Must-use shortcuts, Magic Portal tricks, or helpful multitasking gestures.

What's the very first thing you change or enable when setting up a new Honor device? Thanks in advance!

I’m upgrading from a Galaxy S23+ (which got the pink line issue).

Please exclude Samsung and iPhone entirely. Oppo Find X8 Pro is also out as it's discontinued in Malaysia. I am mostly looking at the Honor Magic 8 Pro or Poco F8 Ultra, but open to other suggestions.

My usage:

• Gaming: I only play Where Winds Meet (1 hour morning, 1 hour evening or sometimes longer if there is new content). I want excellent thermals (I'm okay with warm but no overheating) and great graphics to enjoy the open-world scenery.
• Reading (High Priority): I spend hours reading web novels, manga, manhwa, Reddit, and Threads. Excellent eye care tech would be nice.
• Daily Use: Streaming music while working, watching YouTube, and social media scrolling.
• Camera: Needs to be great for taking landscape and scenery photos during travel.

Between the Honor Magic 8 Pro and the Poco F8 Ultra or any other device which one fits my balance of heavy text reading, casual RPG gaming, and travel photography best?

Since I want something that handles high graphics and performance smoothly and avoid overheating, I'm stuck between the Oppo Find X9 Pro (Dimensity 9500) and the Honor Magic 8 Pro (Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5).

What phone do you currently use to play, and how does it handle the game? If anyone has experience with either the Oppo or Honor flagships, I'd love to hear your thoughts on frame rates and overheating!

Hey everyone, just looking for some advice on the Summer Breeze event! 🎐

I’ve got the 5 free Verdant Flutes, but honestly, the odds of getting anything legendary from this banner seem pretty horrendous. I know that if we don’t use them, they’ll automatically convert 1:1 into Lingering Melodies after the event ends, which is great for hitting pity on the main banners later.

However, I actually don’t mind skipping the big drops if I can just get 8 Summer Breeze tokens to exchange for the earrings or the pose in the shop. They look so good!

Is it actually realistic to get 8 tokens with just the 5 free pulls? It would be so frustrating to end up with 6 or 7 tokens and be stuck with a useless currency while missing out on the conversion.

Update : I decided to go for it and... I’m so glad I did! I ended up getting 20 Summer Breeze tokens from just the 5 pulls I even got a "bonus" drop of a pair of earrings (though not the exact ones I was looking for, I’ll take it!). Now, what do you guys think? Should I go for the Mask?
