How do I get the most out of my Plus Subscription?

I just got my 1 month free Chatgpt Plus subscription, I had a subscription on my personal account a while ago but I didn't use it to the fullest. Luckily I got another offer on my Uni account which I just claimed. I'm a CS student if that's relevant. It'd be great to get some tips and do's/dont's. I've heard Astra can eat up credits quickly so I'd like to know if there's a way to avoid that.

I remember the show having a line similar to 'This Vexes me'

I watched the whole show a while back, and I remember hearing something like the meme in one of the episodes before actually discovering the meme. So when I saw the meme I thought it was about that line.

Does anyone remember the episode where something similar was said?

Is there a way to delete specific buttons for specific games for the on-screen controls on Android?

I'm playing BOTW and celeste with touch controls on Snapdragon 8 gen 5

Botw needs all the controls but celeste only needs a few and I'd like to get rid of the others for this game.

Is there a way to do this? I think ppsspp has what I'm talking about

What's the emulation scene for SnapDragon 8 Gen 5 (non elite) right now?

I'm planning on getting a new phone. I might do some *casual* emulation sometimes, but not much since I've got a 4080m laptop. I'm thinking of doing switch emulation and playing some casual pc games (I'll play the more demanding titles on my laptop).

Most of the phones in my budget have an 8 gen 5, with balanced specs. I'm thinking of getting an iQOO 15R or OnePlus 15R, both have 7400-7600 mAh battery and 12/512gb

If I go for 8 Elite, I'd have to sacrifice on other specs like settling for 5000mAh (oneplus 13S) or getting less storage, both of which are quite important to me

There aren't many posts for 8 gen 5 here, I saw one in which people were saying that the emulation scene is bad due to no proper driver support, but that's like 7 months old now.

So is 8 gen 5 ok for casual emulation right now?

I love Silksong but it just doesn't hit the same as Hollow Knight for me

I completed Silksong at 95% today after buying it on day 1. I had a great time, but it wasn't as good of an experience for me as Hollow Knight, and I couldn't figure out why that was the case until today.

I found it to be a much better game (mechanics, animations, tiny details, dialogues, etc), but pharloom just isn't as interesting as hallownest for me.

I guess hallownest just feels relatable to me whereas pharloom doesn't. Like hallownest is a kingdom, of course it'll have sewers, upper and lower class bugs with different lifestyles, the rulers doing shady stuff, trams, stag stations, and other things that you'd expect from a place like that, which made me really appreciate the details when I noticed them.

Silksong is filled with details like these, but pharloom is a religious place and I have zero knowledge about places like this. So if I notice something similar in silksong my thoughts aren't "oh of course this exists, what a cool detail!", they're more like "Oh, cool detail. Maybe this is how things are in real life?".

Also, Hollow knight's areas and music were very memorable. If I hear the name of an area from HK, a picture of that area instantly pops up in my head along with its music. That only happens for a handful of areas in Silksong for me. The theme and atmosphere as well, I didn't realize how much impact HK's dark, sombre atmosphere had on my enjoyment of the game until I played Silksong.

Their beaks change?? [ACT 3 Spoilers]

I'm on act 3 (I've only completed nyleth and currently fighting green prince) and I just noticed that the craw look completely different! Is there a lore reason for this?

My first 5M!

I was aiming for 550k for the crewstyles fit, but I didn't die till 2.5M. So I went all in and invested everything into the run. I started dying a lot after 3M tho so had to spend a lot of keys for revives

Yutani was level 9 for the run. I got her base multiplier to 7 with stars and used sub surf classic (don't know the level but it gives x2 multiplier when used)

I only had enough resources to get her to level 11 after the run tho so I won't be getting the legendary fit for a while :(

I keep getting paralyzed in lucid dreams

It's not sleep paralysis, it's false awakening in which I can't move (I can still do the nose pinch test), and if I try too hard to move, I move my physical body and wake up.

Last night I transitioned into an LD from sleep paralysis. I tried to quickly move between rooms which caused the dream to colapse and led to a false awakening. I immediately did the nose pinch test and confirmed that it was a dream

I announced what I believed I was wearing and my clothes changed. But when I tried getting up, I could barely move. It was like my head weighed a ton. I tried really hard which made me wake up for real

It also sometimes happens when I transition from sleep paralysis to LD. Sometimes I can move but my vision is stuck in a place so I just snap back to my last position.

I just don't feel satisfied with scientific explanations after experiencing whatever this was

I don't know whether it was sleep paralysis or hypnagogia or a lucid dream. It happened 2 days ago.

I woke up at 7 in the morning and tried going back to sleep. I closed my eyes and suddenly a really heavy creature jumped on me and started running in circles on my body. It felt like a large dog-like creature with multiple limbs that was heavy but hollow at the same time, almost as if it was made out of dense air. (This was a tactile hallucination, I never saw the creature as I barely opened my eyes)

I experience sleep paralysis quite often, but usually it's a pleasant experience where my body starts vibrating intensely, followed by hearing voices and some mild tactile hallucination like someone brushing their hands on me. I'm usually very calm and easily transition into a lucid dream when it happens

But this was very sudden and aggressive, there was no change in my state of awareness, or at least no transition. It felt very real, like someone had actually jumped on me.

Anyways, I gaslit myself into thinking this is fine and took deep breaths in and out. Generally I imagine a beach which leads to a calm transition into an LD, like sinking into the bed, or floating or feeling the water/sand. But this was very unexpected so all I could do was to try and calm myself down

But it only worsened the situation. The creature was now gripping me tight, with its arms around my shoulders. I tried to calm down and thought 'this is fine', 'it feels good', which generally stops any bad sensation, but this just kept getting worse

Eventually, I got fed up and tried to move. To my surprise, I wasn't paralyzed at all. I slowly tried turning to the creature (I'm confrontational in these states). It started digging its claws into the left side of my hip, I could feel the pain. This just made me angry. I started growling intensely and jumped towards it, trying to bite it, and that's when the experience stopped.

It didn't feel like I 'woke up', my awareness felt continuous. Generally, I forget how vivid and intense a lucid dream felt right after waking up, but I remember this as if it really happened.

I was very drunk and tired the night before so Ig that did smth. Also, I remember slightly opening my eyes and seeing the ceiling fan, even though I was sleeping on my side

I tried not to think of it and move on, but I couldn't sleep properly last night, as I was scared it might happen again. I doubt I'll sleep much today either. I keep trying to convince myself that it's fine even if it happens again and that it's not real, but the truth is I really don't want to experience it again.

Yesterday, I felt myself dozing off and the vibrations started to kick in, but then I started feeling something heavy on my chest so I woke myself up. Idk what to do
