GST cancellation/surrender for small business in Mumbai

I’m no longer doing any business. I used to run a small e-commerce business, but I got busy with my studies and job, so I don’t have time for it anymore.
I’m planning to surrender/cancel my GST registration. I’ve been filing all my GST returns myself, and many of them have been NIL since I haven’t done any business for around 1 year.
I’m based in Mumbai.
Is GST cancellation through REG-16 fairly easy to do myself? Is there anything specific I need to take care of before applying?

And one more thing — do I have to give the sweet box to the GST officer one more time? 😂 Or is the whole process online now?
Would appreciate advice from anyone who has actually cancelled their GST registration in Mumbai.

Need advice on closing/transferring my 18% car loan

I bought a Honda City and took a car loan at 18% fixed interest. It was my first time taking a loan, and honestly, I now realise I probably made a bad decision.
My current EMI is around ₹13,000, but I feel the principal amount is not reducing much because of the high interest rate.
I want to close this loan as soon as possible. I'm considering either:
Transferring the loan to another bank at a lower interest rate
Making aggressive part-payments
Somehow closing the existing loan early
Has anyone here transferred a car loan from a high-interest lender to a bank with a lower rate? Is a balance transfer actually worth it after foreclosure and processing charges?
What would be the smartest way to get out of an 18% fixed-rate car loan quickly?
Any advice from people who've done this would be appreciated.

How can I get my first internship at a law firm in Mumbai as a 5-year law student?

Hi everyone,
I’m currently a 5-year BLS LLB student in Mumbai and I’m looking to start working in a law firm. I have zero practical experience so far, and I’m honestly a bit confused about how to get my first opportunity.
I’m interested in starting my career in corporate law, but I’m open to starting wherever I can learn and gain practical experience.
Could anyone working in the legal field please guide me on:
How should I approach law firms as a fresher?
Where can I find firms that are actually hiring law students?
Is it better to directly email firms/HRs or approach people through LinkedIn?
Can I realistically get a paid internship/trainee position with no prior experience?
Any tips on how I can improve my chances of getting my first opportunity?
I’m willing to learn and work hard. I mainly need some guidance on where to start and how to approach firms.
If anyone knows of firms in Mumbai currently looking for interns/trainees, I’d really appreciate a referral or lead.
Thanks!

5-Year Law Student Seeking Guidance on Becoming a Corporate Lawyer

Hi everyone,
I'm a 5-year law student and I want to become a corporate lawyer. From what I understand, the usual path is to intern at a law firm first and then eventually move into an in-house corporate legal role.
The problem is that I don't have anyone to guide me, and I'm honestly a bit nervous about where to start.
Could someone please explain the process?
How do I apply to law firms?

Where do firms usually post internship openings?

Is it okay to cold email firms?

What should I include in my resume if I don't have any internship experience yet?

What skills should I focus on to improve my chances?

I'd really appreciate any advice from lawyers or law students who have gone through this. Thanks in advance!

GT650 exhaust leak from crossover/balance pipe joint – anyone else had this?

I have a 2023 Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 with the stock exhaust. I've noticed an exhaust leak coming from the crossover/balance pipe (collector) joint under the engine, not from the cylinder head.
The bike runs normally, but I can feel exhaust gases escaping from that joint.
Stock exhaust
Around 11,000 km
Leak is only at the crossover/collector joint
Has anyone experienced this before?
What usually causes it?
Is it a gasket, clamp, or a failed weld?
Is it safe to keep riding for another 5–6 months, or should it be repaired immediately?
I'd appreciate any advice or if someone has had the same issue. Thanks!
