Btw the boys get a TINY handful of alfalfa with their meals - helps make sure they eat it all up, including any meds or supplements. Their typical hay is grass hay (usually teff or Bermuda, sometimes orchard)

I’ve just been buying the smallest horse ones I can find and snipping the tips of the ears off the masks so that they at least have the base of their ears covered. But they’re always too big and I have to modify with hair ties and sewing and I’m tired lol

For context, an ESS is an Emotional Support Stick. When Waffles was scared when he first arrived, he would grab a stick and carry it around in his mouth to help him feel brave.
Now that Waffles is so comfy here, he still carries them around sometimes but he always stores his most treasured ones in his bedroom (stall lol).
When I tell you that The Tiny Waffles is the sweetest most pure soul in the world, this is what I’m referring to! So so precious💜
