I swear I wasn't looking to buy six books in the space of two days . . . it just happened, honest.
But at least I now own a copy of Daggers of Darkness which, I contend, has the nuttiest cover of all FF books!

Launching at Fighting Fantasy Fest in September - more information at the official blog post.
Talking of FF Fest - anyone who's going interested in meeting up in person and saying hi? Myself and the other mod u/invalidcolour have mentioned it in chat, so thought I'd offer it up to the community.
One more green spine for the collection and a couple from Wizard series 1. Both the Wizard books were ex-library and had plastic covers and stickers taped to the spine but thankfully I was able to remove them without any damage to the books.
Had this edition as a kid; just bought it from ebay for a reasonable price - I think I now have most if not all of the foil lightning covers from New English Library.
I removed a comment from a post for breaking one of the sub rules; before I did that, the OP had already responded to that comment.
Now I've removed it, and locked the thread, using a non-mod account I can see the original comment's gone and replaced by "Comment removed by moderator" as expected, but the OP's comment is still in place.
Am I missing something? I don't really want to remove the OP's comment as they've done nothing wrong, but is that my only option?

Took me about a month to read both omnibuses and to be honest, I was surprised at how little Titus Crow was in this last set of books; apart from a few cameos, he's hardly there.
Still, a good horror adventure romp from Lumley.
Hi all - I'm winding down my collection and thinking of getting some comics bound. I'm based in the UK and wonder if anyone has recommendations for a company here.
But, you know, we were happy in those days, though we were poor.
I mod a relatively small sub (approaching 4K members) and am the only mod at the moment. It's manageable for me in terms of mod actions but I'd like someone to hold the reins if I go off on holiday or something.
What approach has worked best for you folks when getting a new mod in - inviting specific users from the community or sending out a community-wide request to see if anyone's interested? Or doing something else entirely (and if so, what?)

Someone in my sub posted a comment with a link to a file-sharing site and that comment is showing in the Removed queue with a note saying "Banned Doman - Links to a URL not allowed on Reddit"
I'm certainly not going to approve the comment but am wondering if the user who posted it knows it was removed and why.

Edited - confirmed they don't see it as removed. Thanks all.
Probably an obvious one but I've read the help article on the User Profile Panel but can't see the answer there.
If I add a Mod Note about a user in my sub, is that info only visible to Mods? I'm guessing it is, but want confirmation before I start using it.
