Bringing a Point and Shoot camera (Lumix ZS99) to The Met Philadelphia next week. (Madison Beer Concert)
I am seeing Madison Beer live at The Met Philadelphia on July 7th next week and I was wondering if anyone here has brought their own compact camera to the venue. I want to bring my Lumix ZS99 to the concert but I am concerned that security might request me to show them how far the lens extends from the camera body. When the camera is turned off, the lens sits flush inside the camera body. The lens does extend past 1 inch when in max zoom.
Has anyone successfully brought in a compact camera like the Lumix ZS99 in past concerts at The Met Philadelphia before? My Lumix ZS99 seems to fall into a grey area when it comes to their camera policy. I want to make sure that I can bring it before I go so that I do not run into problems with getting into the venue.
Poor train etiquette is getting out of control
The amount of individuals having poor train etiquette is actually terrifying. Feet on the seats, not utilizing the overhead luggage rack, etc. The list just goes on.
Imposter Syndrome
I am currently in CFI Initial and it is making me question myself as a pilot. I have had this "imposter syndrome" for my PPL, CAX, IR, and multi add on. I thought it would go away but it has seem to be getting worse during my CFI Initial training. Does the imposter syndrome ever go away? How do you guys deal with it?
Anyone here play the game on day 1?
Snowrunner literally made lockdown during the Covid 19 years worth it. I didn't expect much when I first bought this game in 2020. It was my first ever game of its kind, especially since I mainly played FPS and other action games. I instantly became hooked to the game.
I played it all the way up to 2023 and took a brief hiatus up until recently. I decided to start from a clean save file and I still get the same joy as I remembered on day 1. I was pleasantly surprised to see just how many regions and new vehicles that have been added to the game after all these years.
When did Mei Lai Wah become an international sensation?
I have been going to Mei Lai Wah for years with my family since the early 2000s. Back then, it was a small unassuming bakery in Chinatown Manhattan. From what my parents told me, it wasn't too popular and it was a place that was not a tourist establishment at all. It was very easy to miss if you do not know where to look.
Fast forward to 2026, I now see huge lines outside of the new location. I was also surprised to see the prices to have more than doubled! I remember the pork buns being about a $1.50. It is crazy to see one of my favorite places (Still is) become so famous in such a short amount of time.
When did this happen? I do not have a Tik Tok account but do have an Instagram.
Planning to spend time to study at the New York Public Library.
I am planning to visit and also to spend a day studying at the New York Public Library this coming Wednesday June 24th, specifically the Rose Main Reading Room. For the visit, do you guys recommend bringing a sweater even though the outdoor temperature in NYC this Wednesday is in the mid 80s? And another thing too, what time should I be arriving at the library in order to secure a seat at the Rose Main Reading Room?
Thank you in advance.
Where do I start?
Hello everyone.

I am interested in building and creating my own real estate photography business and was wondering where I should begin in the business side of things. I pretty much already have the camera gear needed (my camera gear is a Lumix G9 first generation and a couple of micro four thirds lenses. I am planning to buy some wide primes too).

As for location, I live in a pretty affluent suburb and is currently one of the most desired and most sought after places to live in New Jersey. Properties here are sold and bought left and right here.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
There is no such thing as a "good warehouse job"
There is no such thing as a "good warehouse job" despite some people saying otherwise.
I used to work at one warehouse and I would always dread showing up for the work day. 10 hour shifts, two 15 minute breaks and one 30 minute lunch break is nowhere near enough to recharge your physical and mental state for the workday. The constant need to meet unrealistic quotas. If you do not meet the rate expected for the day, you get coached or written up. The other aspect of the job that really bothered me was the rampant favoritism that occurred between management and the normal warehouse associates. I have seen certain individuals get away with stuff that others would've been fired for long ago.
One of the scariest things I saw during my time there was the overall amount of depressed individuals that work there. I could tell most of them do not want to be there but at the same time, have no choice. It was honestly scary to see. The saying "you should be thankful that you work this job" is such a bullshit statement.
I think the worst part of the job aside from the fact that the pay was nowhere near where it was supposed to be considering the amount of work and demand that was placed on the workers was the mental aspect of the job. The repetitiveness, the monotony, and shear boredom that came with the job sometimes got to me on certain days. There would be days where I will literally get angry for having to wake up and go to work.
Thankfully, I have since left that warehouse and am now working in something that I am passionate about and haven't been more happier since.
Non-Stop Flexing up, VTOs disappear within seconds. (Sort Center)
I work at PNE5 and we have been flexing up almost non stop every shift that I work at to the point where they might as well advertise each shift as 5 hours instead of the normal 4 hour length to new hires. We have been getting volume that nears or exceeds peak weekly. I have also noticed more and more people leaving the job all together.
The VTOs on the other hand are announced and disappear within seconds on the A to Z app which is insane.
Anyone here experience the similar situation at other sort centers?
