I know this has already been asked alot of times before but I still have to ask, I completed the main novel with 551 chapters and heard that there's side stories so I immediately went there and then I found out that it's basically a sequel and that's there's a new mc. I read the first two chapters and I don't feel like continuing. I don't know how to feel about a new protagonist and stuff. Also I already got a major spoiler so I'm pretty reluctant to read them. there's the problem with the translation too, the one I have is very bad. so overrall are the side stories necessary? should I read them or not?

I'll say it first that I didn't hate Cassie before because.. I'm not gonna explain its just hard to explain, from the FS to SOA I didn't hate her and I could even slightly understand her actions BUT EVEN I HAVE MY LIMITS. her decision and inner monologue on not betraying mordret was the breaking point because WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU ON ABOUT?? this is the moment you started having morals? mordret? really? that fucking mordret? and not to mention the fact that after all that BS no one in the cohort even talks about that? they don't even get the slightest bit mad at her, ESPECIALLY SUNNY BECAUSE WHAT??? im so mad sorry i have become a Cassie hater now she keeps fucking over sunny

The lack of dialogue is actually driving me crazy, no because what do you mean that sunny was gone for YEARS and YEARS from their memories and when he finally regains his fate, they were like just.. it's good to have you back? not to mention they wrapped it up in a couple chapters like it wasnt even that important. i was so so looking forward to sunny and cassie's conversation after he regains his fate but ofcourse we get a freaking summary instead of an actual conversation, I'm so disappointed. i liked nephis's and rain's moments but everything else was just so... Anyways i love shadow slave and always will but I wish the author would add more dialogue. sorry if I'm not making any sense but UGGHH I'm so irritated

i just binged the anime and loved it and it seems that it's still airing, I'm not sure about what to do. just watch it weekly until the season is finished and then read the manga or just read the manga right now? is the manga good? is it better than the anime or not ALSO PLEASE NO SPOILERS

I posted earlier here in this sub about something similar but, I know season 4 is ongoing and only 6 episodes are out rn (I'm caught up), but I genuinely can't decide what I should do

Part of me wants to just leave it alone for now and wait until there are at least like 24 episodes out so I can binge everything in one go, because I always enjoy shows way more that way. But at the same time that's gonna take sooo long.

The other option is reading the manga or LN while keeping up with the anime weekly, but I'm scared I'll ruin the anime experience for myself if I already know everything that's gonna happen. Like the hype, surprises, emotional moments and all that also i have not read any LNs so this would be my first.

So now I'm just stuck not knowing what to do and if I do start reading, should I go with the manga first or jump straight into the LN? Ughhh I'm so confused.
