August golf game.

I will be in sunset beach NC last weekend of August. I want to play a round of golf with my 2 sons. It will be on Saturday. None of us are great golfers,. Shoot in the mid to high 90s. Any recommendations on a golf course not too challenging. We can drive into North Myrtle if needed.

Moderno on the Escape

I sail on the Escape in November. I see the ship will be in dry dock in October, and I read that they are removing Moderno's and expanding Cagney's.

Currently the only open time for Cagney's is 9pm or later, which is too late for us. But I can book Moderno for 7.30 or 8pm. I wonder if I book Moderno, will they just switch me to Cagney's or just cancel the whole reservation. Worth a try, I guess.

pre-paid gratuities promo

They have a promo running that includes pre-paid gratuities. Is this first for NCL, I don't recall ever seeing this promo before. I have already made final payment on my cruise, so I don't suppose calling them would do anything? I got extra latitude points when I booked mine, and used a 20% coupon they had sent me,.so I'm sure the voids any chance of an adjustment.

International invoice question

I sold an item to an international buyer. I'm in the USA. The buyer then purchased another item from me and requested combined shipping. Which I don't mind doing, however it seems eBay will not allow me to combine the 2 international invoices. Is this normal or am I missing something?

Reading "The Stand", not what I expected.

After putting this book of for years, due to the size of it, yea it scared me I have jumped in. I started back reading about 2 years ago, and after reading a bunch of his latter books, I decided to start reading the older ones, I had missed and do them in publication order. So currently I'm on The Stand, the expanded version. I'm around the 500-page mark and it's not what I expected. I'm enjoying the read, don't get me wrong, but it still seems like it's all still setting up, or is this just the vibe of the book. I was expecting more of a walking dead type story, not zombies but inner fighting, I think. I also have never seen any of the adaptions either.

$500 cruisefirst

Does anyone know how often they run the $250 for $500 promo. Getting ready to book a cruise for November and currently they are only offering the $150 for $300.

And while I'm here, I can only use one certificate per cruise

November Road trip questions.

I'm in the process on planning a little road trip 2nd week in November. Early planning stages have me flying into Boston day one, picking up car and driving to Portland. Spending a night there, which gives me the afternoon to explore, plus most of following day. Next day plan on driving to either Bangor or Bar harbor. Then a few days exploring Bangor (I'm a Stephen King fan) and doing the drive around Acadia. After that drive back to Salem spend a night, then next day drop car back to airport and head into Boston for a few days.

My wife's main concern is the weather. I'm expecting temps in mid 50's during day and 40's nighttime. Also expect rain but thinking it's too early for snow.

Also, where could I hit on return trip from Bangor to Salem for an overnight stay?
