Phone Plan to keep number active for a year.

Hey Everyone, looking for cheapest phone plan in order to keep a phone number active for a year when abroad. So looking to simply prepay/autopay a phone plan in order to keep Canadian Number active while abroad for a year.

Suggestions?

Currently on Rogers with 4lines active. Looking to change one line to cheapest option for a year with ANY Carrier. No need for Data only to “save” the Phone Number.

Best Cellphone Provider On Campus?

My Daughter going to UVic in Fall and My Son heading to UBC in Fall. Currently whole family got Rogers just wondering WHO the best Cellphone Providers are on these campuses.

We currently have a contract with Roger’s that ends on Black Friday so will probably be looking to sign up with someone cheaper.

Did receive an email about residency today: had to pay 2000$ deposit to secure spot and should hear BY Mid-August room assignment.

Let me know where you guys at with this faculty.

Water Main depth to house in Steveston Village

Wondering if anyone knows what depth the water main supply to the house is at usually in Steveston Village. My house has a ditch out front so I’m thinking probably 5ft? Then less as it goes to the house.

Asking as a few days ago noticed water puddle in my front yard(my part of yard, not the city), since it rained the day before I just thought it will dry up by itself. Couple days goes by and the puddle still there, oddly enough didn’t notice a drop in water pressure to the house. I can turn water off if needed when working on it in order to fix the pipe.

I had a similar situation at my parents place in Surrey (Guildford area) few years back and the water supply line ran maybe 2ft under the driveway. But wondering if anyone knows that’s it like in Steveston Village.

I’ll reach out to the City Monday probably to figure out where the utilities are located before digging but depending on depth might need a HydroVac Truck.

Thanks Everyone
