I havent got a job yet and im trying to make some extra cash by flipping a few PCs and I recently bought a PC with a GTX 770. The guy who I got the PC from said that the GPU is a GT 710 (significantly worse) but I bought the PC and it was a GTX 770 (way better)

I made a post on r/pcmasterrace about this, because I thought it was cool that I got something that good instead of the bad GPU the seller listed.

The post went well until I mentioned I was gonna resell the PC. Now the people hate me in this comment thread for "selling e-waste to unknowing customers". They also called me a fucking scammer.

The thing is, I deliberately sell older hardware so I can sell it at a lower price and find a buyer faster.

And what I don't understand is: people call me a scammer, even though I downloaded several games on the PC, tested them, measured the FPS, and included accurate results in my item description.

What my descriptions look like:

Fortnite: 100 FPS (rarely small drops)

Minecraft: 230 FPS @ 16 Chunks

GTA 5: 90 FPS @ low settings

Is this still a bad thing to do, even though the buyers know what they are buying (they know the fps and specs).

So AITAH or are they just dumb?

IMPORTANT EDIT: Many people didnt read the part where I said i am posting the specs but yes, i am.
