What can I write on my CV

Stupid question I know, but I’m looking to leave the civil service and I’m not sure how much I’m allowed to mention on my CV. I work as a case manager for Universal Credit, which is hardly private and confidential, but I’m just a bit worried about mentioning processes we use or skills I’ve learned.

How did you decide to go into archive work?

I’m currently doing data entry work for the government and I really don’t enjoy it. I was considering going into archive or library work, but the Masters courses are quite a lot of money and I don’t want to go into it blindly.

How did you know you wanted to go into it before choosing to study for the Masters? Is it just a case of volunteering, or doing similar work?

Also, did you find it difficult to secure a job after doing your masters?

DARVO?

Hello,

I got out of a relationship recently that was very emotionally abusive. I was constantly belittled and isolated from those close to me. Eventually, after about a year of this, I did snap back and I insulted my ex.

I apologised for insulting him as I do not want to be the type of person that does that, and I felt really bad about saying this. Plus, I felt guilty because he doesn’t really have anyone else.

He has had a hard life which is part of the reason I stayed so long. He would threaten to kill himself all the time, and if I tried to call him out on this he would just say he was just being honest.

Anyway, recently he said to me that I was using DARVO tactics on him by pointing out his abuse. It’s making me worry that I was the manipulative one the whole time. Has this happened to anyone else? I’m still doubting the whole relationship thinking maybe I was the one in the wrong.

He can’t be using DARVO to do DARVO right? Am I crazy here?

I know I wasn’t perfect and I shouldn’t have insulted him, but how do I know if this is another abuse tactic?

How do you guys manage friendships?

I’ve recently had a friendship fizzle out due to me becoming burnt out with the whole thing. I was spending so much time emotionally managing the friendship and, I suppose masking, that I didn’t really engage in any of my personal hobbies or interests. This led to us having quite a big argument and now I feel so much more peaceful that we’re not friends because I can actually do my hobbies like art and gaming and baking.

This has happened to me a few times where I have made friends, became super close, and then become so burnt out that we don’t speak anymore.

Does anyone else find this happens to them? Am I just friends with the wrong people, or maybe I’m not doing friendship right? Perhaps I need to learn how to not become so attached to my friends?

Anyway, I’m interested to hear how other people manage friendships with their autism so please let me know !!

ERP for moral rumination

Hey all,

So I got into an argument with someone I considered a friend a few days ago after being repeatedly belittled and insulted. I got a bit angry and insulted him back, which I feel bad about now.

I keep ruminating about the argument and thinking I might be a manipulator or secretly evil and that I should never have friends and things like that. I also keep worrying that everyone is going to find out I was mean and I’ll be ostracised.

What ERP do I actually do for this? Do I just accept I might be a bad person? And do I apologise? I don’t know if I feel guilty because I’m ruminating or because I was in the wrong and I should genuinely apologise.

Any tips would be appreciated!!
