Car Adapter Options - For Car Play

Hey !!
I bought a wireless car adapter for my car play, my car is a 2021 Honda Accord and it requires either an adapter or using a USBC cord for the car in order to display the screen for navigation, etc. This is my second adapter. And they keep disconnecting. I have to consistently unplug it and then plug it back in. Is this a common issue with car adapters or is there brand that is recommended, that won’t make me want to throw it out the window and run it over.

DaVita ??

Hey guys,
I’m thinking about taking a job at DaVita. They said the pay is $40 for a new grad RN in NJ , Anyways I’m excited for somebody to hire me. However after watching the John Oliver clip that he did on DaVita it has caused me to look further into the company. They said that they expect me to work 12-15 hour days however I will not get paid overtime until I reach 40 hours. Personally I feel like anything over 12 hours should be considered over time. Regardless they also said I would have 9:1 ratio. Which seems a little crazy for only $40 !!! I’m nervous that I will be overworked and exhausted. My top priority is safety of my license and of my patients. I understand that corporate “profit staffs” and is not under staffed. I was looking into unions to help protect myself from corporate greed. I guess I just need insight into this company and insight into union. Also I read that DaVita spends 7 million a year to busy unions, all the more reason to protect myself license.

Home Care for new grad RN!!

Hey guys! I am a new grad RN. I got offered a position at a home care position for kids . I have reservations around this position mainly due to the limited training. The hiring manager said that you get less than 6 weeks of training. She said you get maybe a week of training. I explained that I am a new grad. The offered letter was sent before the first interview call. Again I have a lot of reservations regarding this position. I did work really hard for my license and I need proper training because I don’t know anything. All the alarm bells are going off in my head. I need insight. Often I do find that hiring managers are disconnected from the reality of the job, often what they tell you is drastically different from the job or training in general. Normally this fact would be reassuring to me, however due to the fact that my license is on the line , I have a lot of reservations.

NJ BON

Hi Guys !! I graduated from nursing school May 15th, I submitted my application to NJ BON on May 19th. They said it is about a 4-8 process. I am trying to be patient, I have called the NJ BON and the lady said that the state wont even begin looking at new grad applications until week 4. I also called BON to verify that they have all the required documents and she said they do. I log into my account everyday and nothing has even been checked yet.. Does anybody have any tips or recommendations?

New grad RN (out of state) applying to NJ BON. Help !!!

Hey guys! I’m currently out of state and applying for my NJ nursing license, and I wanted to see if anyone else has had a similar experience.

I was told that because I’m out of state, my fingerprint information and necessary code would be mailed to me instead of emailed. I tried calling the NJ BON number listed on the website multiple times, but the automated system kept saying they were unable to take calls due to high call volume before hanging up. I called (973) 504-6430. And emailed nursingupdates@dca.lps.state.nj.us

I finally got through to someone only after calling the technical support line (973)-273-8001. She kept telling me that there is no evidence in the system of me trying to call. My call log shows 8 attempts to call NJ BON yesterday and today. This woman finally transferred me to a real human and even then the conversation wasn’t very helpful and I was basically told that my fingerprint packet was mailed out and that it could take up to 6 weeks for them to review my application. I applied on May 19th, so now I’m just waiting and hoping everything is moving along correctly.

Has anyone else applied to NJ from out of state and dealt with similar delays or communication issues?

Just trying to see if this is normal for NJ licensing.

After I finish my fingerprints, my application will be complete. Does anybody know if 6 weeks an accurate amount of time?? And how long does it take for the fingerprints to arrive in the mail?

Is NJ always so rude to deal with?

Will I ever get my license ??
