Finished my Akhelian Allopex this week! 🦈
I wanted to move away from the brighter blue schemes I often see on this model and try something closer to a real shark. I started with Intense Viking Grey, then added a little Space Grey to bring some cooler blue tones back into the upper body.
For the armor I went with Enchanted Steel, with Akhelian Green for some of the Idoneth details and Blood Angels Red for the runes and tassels. I also tried adding tiny Azure Magic reflections at the end to suggest underwater light hitting the metal.
The base was probably my favorite part: sand, tiny shells, seaweed and Still Water to make it feel like an actual seabed.
Really enjoyed painting this one, especially experimenting with a more natural-looking Allopex.
I finally finished this Hospitaller miniature that I picked up from the Warhammer store in Rotterdam.
I loved this model from the start because it feels more like a small diorama than just a single miniature. The wounded sister, the book, the parchments and the snowy base made this a really fun project to paint.
I paint the Dreadblade Harrows from Warhammer Age of Sigmar – Nighthaunt.
This time, I also added more spoken narration to explain the process: why I started with a zenithal prime, how I used Bone White for the skeletal details, why I chose Basilicanum Grey for the dark horse bodies, and how Nighthaunt Gloom + Nihilakh Oxide helped create the ghostly blue-green effects.
I also talk a little about the story behind these spectral riders and why I wanted them to feel like cursed cavalry rushing out of a cold haunted graveyard.
In this video, I paint a Null-Khemist from the Kharadron Overlords range for Warhammer Age of Sigmar.
This is the second video in my Kharadron project, and for this miniature I wanted to keep that rich steampunk feeling with warm metallics, purple armor tones, and glowing aether details. I also finished the base with a rocky ground texture to match the overall look.
