Admiral posting? Admiral posting.
Been a minute since we’ve seen admirals on display. This is Vice-Admiral Zhigrah Roriksdottr the general of my path to glory force. Need to do the rest of the basing but she’s basically there!

Hello, total noob to this army so reading the rules for them. The 'Read the Winds' ability where navigator can teleport a ship (and themselves) to anywhere on the battlefield sounds nice, but does it affect any transported models? such as the 20 Arkanaut company I thematically have as my dedicated crewmen for my ironclad. It specifies the navigator can go with them, but I found it funny and also strange if they just abandon their mates
Quite possibly my favourite model in Age of Sigmar, painted this up a few years ago and been debating getting another ever since 😅
Seeing most lists skip Thunderers these days. I remember earlier in the edition the goal was to have as many Thunderers as you could, now it seems you take none!
Any love for the shooty mans?
Hello r/minipainting,
I need help figuring out how to paint an Arkanaut Frigate with this kind of wooden panel look:
I have the hull of a normal Arkanaut Frigate, but instead of the normal bulbs, I attached some 3D printed sails I found online to give it a Treasure Planet vibe. I want to have a mix between wood on the hull and a futuristic aesthetic on the deck of the ship.
How would I go about painting this? Are there any tutorials I can watch?
Thanks!
Howdy! I recently got a really good deal on 2100pts of new mostly unboxed KO. Last night my DnD group got together for a paint night and here’s where I’m at so far. A couple mistakes to clean up but this is up to the point of base coats and then a wash. A lot of detail to add but hows this looking so far?

I'm not missing anything, am I? Thank you! 🙏😁
The App says error, but I believe Egineer's Guild allows me to take 2 Voidstone Orbs against my friend's Lizards.
Ive finally finished Big Daddy. And I love the design of this model. Its so cool.
The ship itself is almost done, just some customization options, extra weapons, shield decals, a couple more rivers here and there
The main thing to work on now is the crew, and I may or may not post wips of them
Following a request on my last post, here is my 2k list all together
Ahoy captains, starting my grimdark KO fleet and was just wondering if there were any dawi runes or symbols that represent piracy or outlaws? Something a kin to the jolly roger ( don't think I am good enough to paint that on their little beards ).
I could be wrong and please correct me if I am.
Played a game where I attempted to score Sacred Centralality with my Endrins but was told that they were not classed as units.
I argued the fact that they are indeed units but they just have no control, meaning I should be able to score the battle tactic as the only requirement was unit. Am I wrong?
Edit: thanks everyone. Got it.
In this video, I paint a Null-Khemist from the Kharadron Overlords range for Warhammer Age of Sigmar.
This is the second video in my Kharadron project, and for this miniature I wanted to keep that rich steampunk feeling with warm metallics, purple armor tones, and glowing aether details. I also finished the base with a rocky ground texture to match the overall look.
Ahoy, skyfarers!
I've been on an AoS hiatus for a few years, but the new Cogfort model has brought me back to my sky fleet. What are y'all's thoughts on how one would fit best in a Kharadron list? I feel like it could take the place of an Ironclad, but I never got around to running much more than a Path to Glory force back when I was actively playing.
Just recently I saw a small collection of KO models for sale (at a decent discount) since they were an army I’ve been interested in for a while I decided to snap them up. (They were actually going to be the army I was going to start AOS with, but then I managed to snag a skavintide box)
Now I was wondering if there’s any obvious next purchases to make, or an obvious way to develop my collection. Most of the research I did (3rd edition and index) is now horribly outdated 😅 any advice would be greatly appreciated!
My collection:
Arkonaut Ironclad
Arkonaut Frigate
Grundstock Gunhauler
Drekki flynt
Aetheric Navigator
Codewright
Endrinriggers x3
Skywardens x6
Grundstock thunderers x5
(Btw the Codewright is my favorite warhammer model period)
Can you suggest a specific strategy or good detachment to play, or things to build towards for 1500 and 2k?
Just ordered my first Vongrim box and was curious if they had options for helmets instead of the just the faces on the box art? I absolutely despise painting faces and thats why my codewrite received a ark company helmet.
