I’m sure these posts get old
But sell me on these sky dwarves. I know literally nothing about them but they’re cool looking. I’m between them, the deepkin, and the ogres.

I have just finished painting these. Now, on to painting 20 Vongrim.
I like this factiond models as a nice change from my usual stuff
Very new to the army. Do we screen with our Arkanaut Company? Or do allow being deployed in the clouds be our "screen"? Is our movement just good enough to where we don't need screens?
The basing is missing but as I have a diorama project in mind so this guy will wait for some rock and grass later on :)
Got married this year and promised the wife I’d paint any spearhead she picked. The full gravity of having limited hobby time is hitting and I was already a sloooooow painter. With the KO, I’m just shooting for box art and always looking for C&C to improve. hoping by the end of July to move onto the Endrinmaster.
also new scourge of aghsy stuff units, artifects and artycles. they haven't announced what those are yet.
Hello! I have a 1k game later today, and I was curious on what you guys think of my list? I do have a squad of skywards and a squad of thunderers, and thundriks profiteers not included, and was wondering what y'all thought of what I have so far? I'll be fighting either skaven or trolls.
Rock and stone guys
Background
The project of building a city board as a display and gaming terrain for my Space Wolves-inspired Kharadrons began several years ago. Two years ago, I posted an early version of it on this subreddit—at the time, the city was temporarily assembled in a garage. Since then, I have moved house and found a place where the city can now be permanently displayed.
In the meantime, the city has grown considerably. New buildings and structures have been added, new inhabitants have arrived, and I have managed to prime most of the scenery. I have even started painting some of the buildings. Now that the city has a permanent home, I am hopeful that the painting will progress at a much faster pace.
History
Barak Drakkwyr, or the City of the Frost Dragon, was once the lair of an ice dragon that terrorized the surrounding lands from its floating island. An expedition of duardin mercenaries and pirates, hired by the long-suffering local population, finally brought the dragon's reign of terror to an end through a combination of cunning and an enormous amount of explosives.
The mercenary band, led by Dedra Stoneheart, subsequently settled upon the floating rock and founded Barak Drakkwyr. The city prospered through trade and monster hunting. The network of caverns once inhabited by the dragon was transformed into an underground city, while the largest cavern became the city's naval base.
Places of Interest
The Great Lighthouse
One of the oldest structures in the city, the Great Lighthouse serves as a beacon for Kharadron vessels and their allies. It is also home to the Admiralty and functions as a major defensive stronghold guarding the entrance to the harbor.
The Harbor
A vast underground port that accommodates both warships and merchant vessels, providing every service they may require, from repairs to resupply.
The Market District
This district is the true beating heart of the city. Thanks to its central location within the region of Ankor Bryn, Barak Drakkwyr has become a major trading hub linking the Dwarfs of the North—who are striving to reclaim their ancestral stronghold of Karak Aldgrong—with the human kingdoms to the south.
Merchants from across the region gather here to display their wares, negotiate contracts, and conduct business, while the transport companies of Barak Drakkwyr ensure that goods are delivered swiftly and safely to their destinations. For this reason, the Market District, along with the Harbor, is open to all visitors without restriction.
In addition to merchants, one can find mercenaries offering their services, traveling performers, thieves, and even scholars who come to study in the library of the Observatory located in the Upper City.
Visitors should be aware that the other districts of the city may only be entered with a travel permit issued by the Office of Customs and Taxes. However, foreigners are permitted to reside only within the Market District. This is hardly an inconvenience, as the district boasts several inns and taverns offering comfortable accommodations.
The Upper City
The administrative, political, and scientific center of Barak Drakkwyr. The headquarters of the major guilds and corporations are located here, along with the Observatory and the City Council Hall.
I recently read the 2nd Callis and Toll book and want to run some kharadron. Is the newer spearhead and fun/and good?
Ive tried finding out who these two in front of the grundstok thunderers are to no avail myself.
