Thinking of starting KO but want advice

So as I said I'm thinking of starting AO as my order army, but I want to know your guys experience before committing, how are they to paint are they fun to play and write your own lore for.

I like them for the skyships maybe because I'm in the royal navy myself haha 🤣 but I just find it really cool any advice

New knight incoming

Thought I would treat myself to a new knight, I don't know what variant and I know everyone says magnetise but I don't know how to do that.

But I don't know whether to do a freeblade or a new knight house. What you guys think?

New army

Hello all I'm thinking starting a order army and I really like the look of the Sylvaneth. I like the look of the models and the whole nature of it.

Just some questions, are they easy to paint model or are they more advanced.

What unit would you suggest to start off with?

HOMEBREW Army

I'm tempted to create my own kindred but I was looking at the range and the HQ Choice bothers me, why can't I have a Kahl in a Exo-suit or is there a way to kitbash one maybe.

Looking for advice and guidance

Need to help

I've always wanted to make my own Inquisitior for 40k but I'm not super confident in kitbashing but I want to try. I've always wanted to make an Inquisitor in power armour any thoughts or recommendations would be helpful.

Dominus knight Valiant

The more I keep looking at this knight I'm beginning to fall in love with it, and I know I've made post before about knights being freeblade.

But are there many examples of Dominus knights being freeblade cause Ive gor a destrider painted already for my noble house but for a freeblade project I would love to make this knight valiant. Also I could use some inspiration of how people painted there? ^^

Hey guys sounds silly I have a few imperial knights I mean like 3 haha.... But I'm thinking off making a freeblade knight and a a retinue for my own lore and fluff.... How would a imperial knight destrider feel lore wise as a freeblade?

I know a lot of people will moan it's not a good model on the table top but I want to point out these will sit on a shelf for enjoyment.... Some would say just get a knight questoris but I know I just love the look of this knight. What you guys think

I've been playing Warhammer Mark of Chaos for the first time the other day, and it made me think how much I love fantasy more than 40k.... Playing as the empire is so fun just normal people trying to fight aganist everything!

However I don't know I want to make my own regiment, but I don't know if i still do old world or Aos cities of sigmar any ideas where to start

I've created a Knight house but I'm thinking of making a freeblade and his Retainers

So since I've started this hobby I've always wanted to make my own freeblade I don't know why I just feel you can do much more fun making your own lore about them. So I'm sick really on what knight to choose I have the codex and stuff and I've already got a Knight valiant to build and stuff so could I turn him into a freeblade. Or from a lore point would that be an overkill for a freeblade or shall I paint the valiant for my knight house and get another knight but which one suits the idea?. Then also I want to make his sacristan and make his own militia troops if anyone had some advice I would be grateful?
