I am keen to go perform but my band members always not in town. I painfully schedule jam sessions for the band and whenever there are performing opportunities, we missed them because noone is free. What will you do ? I don't want to give them up. They are the best people I ever have in my band.

How to know the most basic version of a blues song ? Many YouTube videos I find are complex improvisation of the same blues songs and I as a beginner is trying to find out the basic version of song to learn that song before I try to find out the fills, solos etc.

How to practise chord tones in the guitar ? My teacher demo playing using chord tones up down the fret and ask me to memorize the shapes of the chord. I tried at home but stuck with no licks and ideas.

How does your band practise in jam studio ?

Seeking good ways to improve our playing as a band within a limited time of 2 hrs spent in a jam studio.

My band sometimes will play the YouTube in the studio to listen to the original version or use the backing track for practice. I mean shouldn't we already know the song before going for practice session isn't it ?

What is a good way to practise as a band in jam studio that can yield results and enable us to be gig- ready ?
