So what do I do with all these Allegan pieces as a newer player?

I’ve got them coming out of everywhere!

Once upon a time a few characters ago I turned them in for Ishgard Restoration, but it looks like that’s no longer a thing - so now what?

Do I just vendor them at the nearest merchant or scantily clad Viera?

IIRC there is ONE area still doing a restoration type thing FAR into MSQ - should I keep them until then?

I’m current on my gear at level 60 and I guess I’m not really hurting for money, but I’m certainly not wealthy either. I get them all the time and they just sit there in my choco bag, begging to be used for something..

Walking pole* suggestions for a 46 year old working man?

There really is a Reddit sub for everything.

I have White Matter Disease, which has completely destroyed my vestibular balance system many years ago (and also epilepsy. Yay!)

I’m in the hospital now after another seizure, and the physical rehab doc strongly suggest I get a walking pole - not cane, but a pole specifically like hikers use to help me with my balance.

Does anyone have any good suggestions? It’s embarrassing enough at my age with the idea of using a walking pole everyday, so I want to try to find something…inconspicuous or something? I don’t know, I’m overwhelmed.

As a new level 50, what do I spend all again tombstones on? Or are they defunct currency?

Do I ignore them and just head into the head exp and pick up whites and greens that are immediately better?

Or is there gear worth getting with them?

Are there any benefits to running a solo FC just for myself?

Like, does having an FC -regardless of population- just make some things *easier*?

If I recall we used to be able to convert dungeon loot to seals - did that involve FC? (I have no idea if it’s still a thing, but I’d love for it to be).

Is there any point to having your own FC even if you don’t plan to invite anyone? Or would it just be an old man yelling into a linkshell by himself and that’s it?

Why is the jewel crafter not crafting gems anymore?

I don’t know if it’s a new character issues or not, but this is the second new toon I’ve created recently (a Druid).

I’ve got it up to level 15, but every time I try to craft **any** of of lowest level gems (which I mats to make hundreds of), I get a “0 gems created” message. And sure enough, no gems.

Are the lowest level gems disabled for some reason? Could I possibly be at some “max # gems” across all my characters and inventory, and it just won’t allow me to craft any more?

There’s no indication that I can’t craft them. Everything is green checkmarks…
