The fear when..

When you realize you can eat more than before. I’ll be 2yrs post op in October and I’ve been noticing I can in fact eat more than I did several months ago. It sparks fear in me. Large portions were a huge part of why I got so large.
Now is my time to realize and make those real lasting changes based on willpower not the surgery cutting my portion sizes.
How do you handle realizing your portion sizes have increased?

About eating and stopping

I’m 20 months out from my rny and wondering about when to stop eating.
(Context first: my stomach ruptured a week after surgery leaving me extremely sick up until like 2 months ago when things started getting much better finally but I do still have fear of getting really sick and hurting when I eat)
When I eat I will stop as soon as I think that was enough food. Sometimes I get my full cue (hiccups) but I generally try to stop before I get to that point. I never try to push myself out of the fear of hurting and being sick.
So when do yall stop eating? Should I try and eat more?

It’s just really nice

It’s just really nice to sit here in a body that feels right to me. That I actually like. A body that makes me feel like myself or who I actually am.
It’s just really nice.
