So I met a girl semi recently at a church young adult meet up maybe about 2-3 weeks ago. We talked for well over an hour together the first night we met and we hit it off pretty well id say, she even invited me to a group dance event (i have never danced before, and she is super good). I got her number, we texted back and forth a bit, went to the event, danced together and talked for even more time together. After I walker her out to her car i invited her to another dance event a few days later. Basically the same thing, danced with each other and talked for a long while that night.

She has a bit of a busy schedule, an early riser and early sleeper, has a pretty set daily schedule and is studying for a new job position, so texting is a bit sporadic sometimes, but usually we will message anywhere between 5-20 times per day or so, some days like weekend a bit more.

Last week we were going to see each other at the young adult meet up again but she texted me tell me she was canceling last minute because she wasn't feeling well, and was going on a trip for the weekend to her family's house so she wanted to be better before that, which is totally understandable.

for context, I have been on dates and met girls here and there over the past 3-4 years trying to find someone i like, and this girl has been so incredibly different from everyone, someone who basically checks all my boxes, I never really believed in love at first sight but that first night we went dancing I knew something in me had fallen head over heals for her.

Her trip was thursday evening to sunday evening, coming back for work on monday (today). When she arrived thursday we texted the most we ever had, basically back and forth for a solid hour. the following friday was back to masically normal sporadic texting, understandable again because she is spending time with her family, saturday was less texts, and sunday was like 3 texts, and now monday it was one text in the morning and still nothing.

This is the first part i need help with: where where should l go from here because im probably overreacting thinking something might have changed while she was on her trip at home? I admit to being very much so an over thinker, and have Anxiety issues from many previous life events. But im just trying to figure out what might have happened, if there is anything i can do, or if anything even happened and im freaking out for nothing.

The dance event happens once a week and will be happening again tomorrow so hopefully I will see her again there, but if i don't see her and/or she starts to ghost me/slowly drift away, is there anything I can do then at that point to save it or is it just a lost cause? because i really, really like this girl and Im trying not to rush things or be too forward with her, but i want to do my best to make sure it works out.

Again I am very much so an overthinker, but if my unfortunate thoughts come true is there any salvaging it like maybe taking a step back and giving her space, but i dont want her to think im not interested in her either, nor do i want another guy to swoop in.

Just need some thoughts and experience from others, would love to hear from everyone, and if you can let me know if you are a Male or Female just so i can get a better understanding on where you are coming from would be greatly appreciated!

TLDR: Just met a girl 2-3 weeks ago, we hit it off and met up a few times in a group dance setting, we have similar interests, i really really like this girl, but after she went to her family's house for the weekend her communication has slowed down a lot. what should happen from here so I can stay connected with her and show im still interested.
